What happens if Ron Paul loses the Republican primary for his congressional seat? Obviously we should try our hardest to prevent that, of course. But would he pull a Lieberman and run as an independent for his own seat?

Well if he's out of his Congressional seat that's the only scenario I see as getting him to run 3rd Party for President.

I think he will win though.

If he gets beat for Congress, then an ALL OUT independant run will surely ensue...

Then he can run for the senate which is where he should be or he can become the President of the new America that is loosely forming, starting with Montana and the Lakota's.

The United Republics of America.

I don't think the neocons collaborating to stop Ron will work. He's done them more damage this year than anything ever has. If it comes down to it, all campaign donations might eventually go solely to his congressional fund. I guess if vote fraud becomes an issue in his district, though, then things might not go the way I hope. If he were to lose, he might as well go for broke and take the LP nomination and run with it.

People here have claimed recently that it is illegal in TX to run as an independent after losing the primary.

if Dr. Paul were to lose his congressional seat, then it would become FACT that his senior campaign team is the single worst bunch of sorry bastard losers EVER to have managed a potentially world-changing movement...
