what does everyone know about larry mcdonald?

He was a true patriot....Ron Paul and Larry McDonald are the only two respectable Congressmen in the last several decades.

Southern Democrats are different. It's always been that way.

yes...we preferred to be called..."Blue Dog Democrats" that is what I am...and all the way back to when the Republicans hung my great-great grandfather from the oak tree in front of the historic Ramsey House. He lived ....btw.

on Larry McDonald.....a Great American...and forerunner to Dr. Paul's legacy.

I assume you've seen this, right?

The wikipedia on him is actually pretty good too.

Especially read the part about the "Reported Tracings" of him. For what it's worth, someone I know and trust has told me before that someone that they know and trust has seen evidence first-hand that he was indeed still alive and in prison after his supposed death.

Now I know why that flight was shot out of the air.

I would definitely support this guy if he was still alive. Too bad the dems of today can't be like that.

he was the original dr. no....

strict constitutionalist.....democrat from georgia...president of john birch society....friend and confidant of ron paul...

killed in 1983 when Soviets shot down Korean Airliner flight 007
Well, maybe Congressman Louis McFadden was the "original" Dr. No since he came much earlier, but there have been a few others including McDonald.

Then there were these compelling stories:

He wrote the introduction to this book :

Probably these beliefs got him killed

Gary Allen is also the author of this little trove

This thread is awesome

+rep for revival Taft

All I know is Ron Paul called Larry McDonald the most principled man in congress and that others from present day have called Larry McDonald "Ron Paul on Steroids". I think he was a Bircher, and he was shot down on the TWA flight. Falwell speculated that the plane was shot down just to assassinate McDonald. Google him and you should find a bunch of interesting stuff.

You think he was? He was the Chairman of the JBS. :)

It was Larry McDonald that Dr. Paul called when he was first thinking of running for Congress.
