What Book Should I Pick?

The idea should be to persuade him philosophically on a base level and the rest will follow. The two suggestions I made pursue this course of action and the true nature of the State. Only a sociopath would support the State after the exposition of Rothbard and Bastiat. Knowing this it becomes fruitless to go after any other topic (re: FP).
 
Thanks for posting Anatomy of the State; I just read it and found it very interesting. That being said, for the OP, I think the Revolution would be better. We don't need to convert people to anarcho-capitalism, just to Constitutionalism. AOTS doesn't do that.

Also, AOTS doesn't address the key worry that people have about anarchism, which is their fear that they would be even worse off than they are with the State. (I'm sure there are books that do; but AOTS doesn't. If anyone can recommend a book that does, there is someone I am trying to convince so I would really appreciate that.)
