I just bought Mingus Ah Um last week.

My favorite New Order album is Technique. Not on my top 20...but definitely a classic that I return to from time to time...

My favorite New Order album is Technique. Not on my top 20...but definitely a classic that I return to from time to time...

Technique definitely is a grower. It didn't click for me at first, but I got into it eventually. I'd say it's probably within my top 30-35. Brotherhood is the New Order album I always forget about; Bizarre Love Triangle is the only song from that one that I return to. But Technique was definitely a return to form for them.

I'm trying to expand my knowledge of jazz. Mingus Ah Um was an early favorite. Cool that you picked it up

I've never actually watched the movie, and don't care to. I don't want to associate anything else with any of the songs, besides my own life. It's been with me for too long.
