What are you most looking forward to in an Obama presidency?

We get to call everyone Comrade for the next 4 years ! I've always wanted to do that :)
 
heh heh I've already started doing that. Of course, the Obama people I know think all that socialism stuff was just Republican fear-mongering. And... it turns out they think socialism is a fabulous idea. ... idiots, err comrades.
 
I am looking forward to all the liberals being confused as to why their savior has let them down on everything.

This guy is absolutely CORRECT. LBJ was a bad thing for America after Kennedy and Biden scares me ****less.

For me, I am waiting on seeing the war in Iran and seeing my number called. I'll go and serve if called, but I will sleep well while I'm there because I know I didn't vote for either of the crackpots who were the "major" candidates.

I am looking forward to seeing Republicans start to realize that big government isn't their friend. For the last 8 years far too many conservatives would spout small government rhetoric and yet praise every attack on our freedoms committed by George Bush because he has an R next to his name instead of a D. Hopefully a Democrat in office will help these poor deluded fools to wise up and realize that government powers are abused.

This presidency has great potential for Republicans, like you say. Big government isn't our friend. Government isn't our friend! Government is the execution of power. It is an interesting exercise if you can stand it. But we have to see the big picture: we need a 40 year plan like that which got Obama elected. We didn't elect him because of pity for his race, we elected him because of the way he conducts himself. Libertarian Republicans hopefully will emerge from this, because the neo-cons have been discredited, FINALLY!
 
I'm looking forward to the economy to go deeper in recession despite the government acts to counteract it. I'm looking foward to the markets collapsing even worse than it currently has under Bush. I'm looking foward to the gas shortages and the sky-rocketing price of oil and energy in general. I'm looking foward to the expansion of the welfare state. I'm looking foward to a bigger war with Afghanistan. A war with Pakistan. A war with Russia. I'm looking forward to a global carbon tax, and higher taxes in general. I'm looking foward to less tax revenues and higher deficits. I'm looking foward to higher unemployment. I'm looking foward to Obama's peace corp. activists and such. I'm looking forward to the surveillance state. I'm looking foward to true progressive being completely disappointed in their man. I'm looking forward to universal healthcare, and higher health costs. I'm looking foward to the shortfall when it comes to entitlements... I'm looking foward to such great times.
 
My my its thick with sarcasm around here. I'm kind of shocked about the number of anarchists on a Ron Paul forum. He may not be "an establishment guy" but he is not for disorder. So much negativity. Why don't you try to provide some positive leadership? You know, like that Barry-guy does?
 
I am looking forward to even MORE Obama murals painted on buildings in my city.....makes me feel like I'm living in Cuba or Venezuela........nice!
 
I'm looking forward to turning on faux news as they are frantically announcing
that DC has been bombed and now the people will have to re-establish a new central government. :o:(:D:eek::p
