Texas State Convention Jun 12-14 -- but temporary platform committee starts Jun 9

HEY -- all you Texas delegates and alternates--- want to be heard by your party?
Come testify at the temporary platform committee starting Jun 9 on an issue that is dear to you-- it would help if it was on an issue that will be coming before the committee so you might want to check your senate district platform document to see what is in it that you might want to address. Something in favor of Initiative and Referendum would be a good one to ask to get into the platform if you don't have anything else. The current platform rejects Initiative and Referendum -- courtesy of the neocons and others!

I'm a delegate so hope to see you there!

Washington State is also this weekend, May 30-31. I'm hoping to hear about several convention victories for liberty this coming weekend. I'll be at the WA state convention.

For those of you who still have upcoming conventions, I've put together my thoughts from our Missouri Convention happenings of a month ago. Included in there are my thoughts and notes on areas which seemed most important relating to conventions, delegates, procedure, etc.

This document is intended for quickly referencing intermediate to advanced level procedural issues which is helpful for the top 1-5% of Ron Paul-supporting participants to know. (It's not important that *everyone* know these things - but it's also important/essential that *some* people know these things...)

Enjoy and good luck,

(PS - I might respond to private messages if you have any questions, but I don't get around this forum too much)
