The timing might never be better for the Republican Party to really listen to feedback on changes the party needs stay relevant in the future. I think there are several core things that Ron Paul supporters, Gary Johnson supporters, the "new" Tea Party, and even establishment Republicans can actually agree on. I am really curious to hear from you guys what you think the core things are? I have boiled my suggestions down to a quick 3 minute video:

Let me know what you guys think!

If you want to appeal to more voters, move more towards the middle, not towards the right. "Reagan Conservatives" would have been considered Liberals or Moderates today.

Didn't they try just that with the last two?

The so-called "middle" created this nightmare. The middle stands for nothing but largesse and deceit just like Carroll Quigley stated.

The GOP needs to actually follow through on it's party platform, though I suspect many Republican members of Congress have not even read it.

How about the last 5 Republican nominees for the presidential election???? Romney, McCain, W. Bush, Bob Dole and George H.W. Bush. RINO Central. The definition of moderate.

Well, now that you mention it.......

It's pretty freaking scary. The GOP talks one way and ends up running individuals who run in direct opposite of their alleged principles.

To win the nomination, Romney moved far to the right. During the general election he tried to move more towards the middle but nobody believed his positions on things since he changed them.

But what specifically does this mean to you? What are the policies/plans they need to have to accomplish this?

They all seem to have the same thing in common, but I can't seem to put my finger on it? They remind me very much of their democratic counterparts. Nah, it must be just my active imagination...;):D

Start following the Weinburger doctrine on wars, stop ALL nation building wars. Fight only wars for America direct defense. Don't support bailouts, put the defense budget on the cutting block with all the other programs.

This would be an excellent start! :)

Please define "far to the right".

Are we talking about the authoritarian middle or the non-authoritarian middle?
