What A Bunch Of Bullpoo On Hardball, They Removed Ron On Intrade List Rankings

I don't think RP is allowed to come up on Hardball. Doesn't seem like it is Matthews or Buchanan's decision imo.

I don't think Buchanan is not mentioning RP because he doesn't want to help his campaign. It might be because Pat knows that a lot of people think he's racist and his endorsement might drive away voters. Also, he's a journalist so I don't think he's allowed to outright support one candidate. Probably though it is because his sister Bay is helping Tancredo.

Buchanan never says anything bad about RP though. He does give him some support every now and then. Like calling him the best example of classic conservatism and having the best voting record in history.

They didn't do that on accident.

Could you please get in the habit of backing up your baseless reflex diarrhea of the, well, fingertips, but, um, no, this isn't quite working like I meant, if only I had thought before typing and hitting the "submit reply" button :p

Always thought deep down Chris Matthews supported Ron Paul, but he has a program to follow if he wants to keep his job.

Yea. but think about what would happen if he came out on the air and supported Ron Paul full bore and was FIRED for it! That would be such a news story, then the majority of the US would end up hearing about the censorship of Ron Paul. It would be great, now only if Matthews had the balls to do it.

They (pundits) all still have kids to feed. Would you intentionally do something to piss off your employer that could end your career just for political reasons? I doubt it. I dont like it for RP's sake but it's still reality.

I sent him an Email similar to the Rev's above.

I really don't think Dan Abrams has some sort of vendetta against Dr. Paul.

Honestly, if Matthews REALLY didn't want to talk about RP, then I don't think this would have happened:

How do you know? This is still the real world we live in where EVERYONE has their strings pulled. Even our own president doesn't run this show (ahem Cheney).

Yes I would, if it would save this country and the world,
and both are in DEEP trouble if we don't get the change in direction
that Dr Paul is offering.

And also, I don't think that if Chris Matthews quit today and never worked again,
he would have any problem feeding his family ect..

if he handled his money frugally and wisely like Dr Paul does..

If I had the money CM makes in 1 year.. probably 6 months.. or less..
I, and if I had a family, they, could live well the rest of my/our lives..

it's called 'prudent expenditures and investments'.. or something close to it..

Nah.. "I need this job to eat.." is NOT a reason for CM to not mention Ron Paul..

.

To be honest I'm surprised no mainstream journalist has decided to fully support Ron Paul yet. We know there are some of them who have in the past had libertarian leanings and in theory would support the same views as Ron Paul, so it wouldn't be absurd for some of them to do so. But think about this. Ron Paul's views are usually completely opposite of the other candidates, and this is one reason why he's becoming so popular. Wouldn't it work just the same way for any journalist who goes against the rest of the media and supports Paul? I know that if there was some sort of mainstream news show that supported Paul, I would tune in every day just to watch and their ratings would soar. Whoever does it first will get loads of attention and publicity, and it would be very hard for that journalist's boss to fire that person once the ratings go through the roof. We just need to get one person to do it, and then others will follow.

You ignore the short-sightedness of the population. It is the same reason why professional athletes get paid 120 million to play a game for 4 years. "What can you do for us now?"
