The California men's and women's tennis programs will host their annual fall-season kickoff event on Friday, Sept. 3, head coaches Peter Wright and Amanda Augustus announced this week. The annual Cal Tennis Kickoff Dinner will begin at 5 p.m. PT at the Berkeley Tennis Club and will feature exciting exhibition tennis in the Battle of the Decades.

Attendees will be able to meet the 2010-11 tennis teams and cheer for their favorite players. The evening program includes refreshments, a no-host bar and exhibition tennis featuring current and past members of the Cal tennis teams. A buffet dinner will follow the on-court action. The Berkeley Tennis Club is located at One Tunnel Road, Berkeley, Calif., 94705.

Tickets are $40 for adults and $15 for youth under the age of 12, when purchased in advance. Prices are $50 and $25 at the door. Please RSVP by Friday, Aug. 27. July 22 I was praying and ask God to confirm the date of the earthquake. After I have finished praying I was going out to my garage when I felt the need to pray agian, I leaned on my washing which was running at the time. The washer had just started the spin cycle when put my arms and head on the washer. The washer started to shake and vibrate so I lifted my head from the washer that when I noticed the timmer, it read 3:09 on the display. God told me there are the numbers of the date. 9-3-0 or Sept 3 2010.

OK, two things:

1) I think we need to have a pre-emptive money bomb to start raising money for the tsunami/earthquake victims - WE ONLY HAVE A MONTH AND THREE DAYS LEFT!

2) Maybe it was a metaphorical revelation and it is the day that California succumbs to a DEBT TSUNAMI and it causes a political EARTHQUAKE as the government collapses due to having no budget (!)
