Brit Floyd.

A Pink Floyd tribute band.

They were phenomenal...played half of "Animals" as part of the set, which is one of my particular favs and PF hardly ever played them live.

If you are a Floyd fan and they are in a town near you, I highly recommend.

Bonus: on their US tour one of the female backing vocalists also toured with PF on both the Pulse and Delicate Sound of Thunder tours.

She must be at least in her 50s now, maybe more, but she belted out the duet on "The Great Gig In The Sky" that shattered glass.

That's her, in the middle, next to the smoking hot Rachel Fury.

One of the best performances of Dogs from Animals I ever saw was in 2000 during the In the Flesh - Roger Waters tour. It was so spot on. Having seen Waters 3 times and Pink Floyd (1987) 2 times, I can honestly say that Waters plays Floyd better than Floyd does, and I am a HUGE Gilmour fan.

It doesn't look like Brit Floyd is coming to AZ anytime soon unfortunately.

I like the concert video for that.

Unfortunately the only thing Floyd related I ever saw live was the Waters tour where he was doing DSOtM live. It was in an outdoor amphitheater, so maybe it hindered some of the usual live props. It seemed to me it was mostly a big screen showing various graphics and the band was like an after thought, mostly in the dark.

The 1st time I saw Waters was 1984. It was billed as a multi media extravaganza and that was exactly what is was. Great sound, great visuals. He opened with Welcome To The Machine and the quadraphonic system made you feel like you were literally in the machine.

And there's also Aussie Floyd

Obviously, a franchising opportunity. I wonder how much it costs to buy into a franchise.

I was wondering that as well, because they had access to everything, there were clips from the movie, from album covers, from live shows and animations, the VariLite stage, music videos, the music, you name it.
