The irony of the mainstream media's relentless campaign to brand "Pizzagate" as "fake news" is that it only serves to raise suspicions. Anyone with an Internet connection can see the images and emails for themselves, and see the glaring omissions from the media's representation of the affair.


But first, just what is Pizzagate? Here the mainstream media gives itself away even further by seeming to coordinate on false talking points. Pizzagate, the mighty Wurlitzers of the media reiterate, is nothing more than an incorrigible gaggle of conspiracy theorists who believe that a child sex-slave ring is being run out of the basement of a Washington DC pizza shop.


Nevermind that this has never been the contention. Nor that this is preposterous.


The communications and exchanges between Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign manager, John Podesta, his brother Tony, and their circle of friends are far more ominous than this outlandish idea. Where there's smoke, there's fire. But where I think the patriot movement sometimes gets led around by its nose, is that smoke can drift a long ways before you catch wind of it. So, you've got to follow the trail all the way back to the source. Unfortunately, that's a lot more difficult than it sounds, at first brush. Many patriots show that they fundamentally do not understand their enemy, because they are looking for "mass arrests" and "unsealed indictments". If human courts could solve these problems, they would have been solved long, long ago. This is a spiritual war. The Gospel is all about signing up to enlist as a foot-soldier in that war. You can wander around the battlefield blindfolded, if you wish, or you can take the blindfold off by going straight to the source: Jesus. This is 0% fake, 100% real, and 100% material. Many are going to die. Many will be martyred. And many will be gathered to the valley of Hinnom and slaughtered there in a river of blood. This is going to get much much darker before the dawn...

It is a warning but it is also a prophecy ... unless, of course, you want take on 20 centuries of church dogma. Revelation is not just a hodge-podge of weird visions, as it seems at first brush. It is a highly structured, extremely concise and logical recapitulation of Old Testament apocalyptic prophecy. If Revelation were not part of the Bible, the Jews would have been right to kill Jesus. If Jesus is not returning in power to fulfill the messianic prophecies, then he was never the Messiah to begin with. The Bible is not an abstraction, a book of moral codes, or mere fables -- there is unfinished business between God and the wicked of this world, and he is returning to settle the accounts, once and for all.

The Bible clearly explains that God's patient endurance of the wicked in the desperate hope that they will change their ways is the primary reason for the suffering in this world -- God permits them to go on in their wickedness for a time in the hopes that he will be able to correct them before time runs out for good. We suffer at the hands of the tyrant because God is patient and he is holding out hope that he can reach the tyrant in his sins, and so bring him to repentance and turn him away from the eternal flames. Those who will not repent, those who rebel against God to the bitter end... will face God -- not God the Father but, rather, God the Judge and Warrior. We speak about it poetically in this way, and people sometimes find it off-putting because they feel that, if God judges, he is somehow rigging the game. But it cannot be emphasized strongly enough that God is simultaneously perfectly just (more just than those who wring their hands about the problem of the justice of hell) and he is a consuming fire.

The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. If God were a supremely powerful human king over your land, you would fear him -- whether or not you respected him, you would fear him. And that is the beginning of wisdom, because if you do not fear the supremely powerful, that is how you end up impaled, roasted over a spit and fed to the pigs. To fail to give God at least the meager respect you would afford a human king, even a king you despised, is the height of folly. And those who actively rebel against God to the bitter end are being led into just such a trap. And it is their own choice, their blood will be entirely on their own heads.
