HR 3603, Truth Accountability Bill, passed the House with a vote of 401 to 0. Then when it went to the Senate, McCain used his position to kill it in committee.

They had a Senate Select Committee on it in 1992, and he didn't want his records of his POW days to get out, so he made sure that no one would be held accountable in the bill.

The bill was supported by Sen Bob Dornan (R-Ca) and Sen Bob Smith (R-Nh). The purpose was to get any and all records of POW's in Vietnam, Korea, and others, so as to find any POW's that might still be alive. McCain didn't want that to happen because it would bring to light his records as a POW. I guess he also made quite a scene when he demanded that the records not get out as part of Vietnam's Diplomatic recognition.

I agree. This would be similar to another candidate's supporters coming onto these forums and pimping their candidate as soon as the news broke that Paul didn't get the top 3 in NH or Iowa. Give them time to react. They'll find Dr. Paul on their own. The debate is this Thursday. Remember, Thompson criticized every single GOP candidate on their record except Ron Paul.

Hi Fred fans,

I think we have a lot in common (especially with wanting to see Huck go down). Truly I despise the other candidates as well, but honestly, Fred has been the only one who hasn't gotten my blood boiling. I've been on the Ron Paul forums for a couple of months now and can honestly say that Fred is the least talked about here (which is a good thing ) He might appeal to us because he is just different from the 'rest', which I hope might be a reason why Ron Paul would appeal to you. Welcome and we hope you stay!
