Welcome Newt supporters!

I doubt he's going to drop out... why would he?

Ron Paul didn't drop out when he got 7% in Florida.

On the other hand, he does seem the candidate most likely to drop out, at this stage.

Just not yet.

Newt is in it til the end. Has tons of support down south, and him and Rick will battle it out down there for all the social/religious votes. GA is also where Newt Repped for years, so it's obvious thats his territory. Ron will only do well and have a chance in the North West to some Mid West states.

Newt hasn't dropped out yet but his Super PAC is going to be running out of money very soon with his lone billionaire buddy pulling out support for him...

I read somewhere that his billionaire backer after NV and the Tuesday following was not as eager to back him, but it was a throwaway line in a story about something else.

I thought I saw a link on Drudge the last 24 hours about the billionaire pulling back on Newt but I cannot find the link via the search.

If I was a supporter of one of the other candidates, I certainly wouldn't feel very welcomed by this forum.

Newt Gingrich: 349
6.2%

If you're keeping score at home:

Iowa: Ron Paul 21, Newt Gingrich 13
New Hampshire: Ron Paul 23, Newt Gingrich 9
Minnesota: Ron Paul 27, Newt Gingrich 11
Missouri: Ron Paul 12, Newt Gingrich 0
Maine: Ron Paul 36, Newt Gingrich 6

Ron Paul has defeated Gingrich in 5 of the first 9 states, and none of them were even close. In Nevada, Newt won by 2 percentage points. In Colorado, it was one percentage point. Only SC and FL were decisive Newt victories.

How about reminding the media of that in the next debate?
