Wear Ron Paul Shirt at polling location?

I don't think you're allowed to, actually. Some people have been made to wear them inside out.

If they're at the polling place, and not voting for Ron, then you've already lost them anyway. A flyer won't do anything at this point.

You can wear your shirt if you're outside and far enough away from the entrance to the polling place (usually either 50 or 100 feet). You can NOT wear campaign materials (including buttons and t-shrits) INSIDE the polling place.

Sorry, but this isnt true. i dont know about the shirt other than HQ has said to make sure you wear a Ron Paul sticker.

There is a posted distance that you can not cross while giving information. You cant go inside and give out information, but a lort of people are still undecided when they go vote, sad, but true.These people can be reached with fliers outside the polling place. Please, please give out fliers, as many as you can!! Thank you!

Hey guys- i just voted. Guess what- Sticker, not allowed. They asked my hubb and I to remove them. (I heard some snickers from the workers when we walked in). Also, unfortunately there were only 4 signatures under the GOP list, and over 40 for the democrat list in my location, which i think 3-4 precincts vote. Lets hope they turn out! We had the old fashioned level type machines also, no computers here.

In Missouri, you can do NO "electioneering" within25 feet of the entrance to the polling place. This includes anything that mentions a candidate or ballot issue. Take your tape measure; take another two steps to be safe, then ELECTIONEER like mad!!

I would advise against wearing anything Ron Paul. You could be barred from the polling station.

What if you just have a shirt that says, 'For Liberty' or 'Protect Freedom' or something general like that. Or "$440,000 is your family's share of the national debt"?

My guess is it depends on how picky the pollworkers are. Or how stupid...they might think someone by the name of Liberty is running for office. Oh well, I still have a month to figure out what to wear when I go vote for Ron Paul. Maybe we'll be so deep in a recession that I'll just strap on a barrel. Actually, come to think of it....I think I just gave myself an idea. What better way to hammer home the point of our failing economy than by showing up in a barrel with a couple straps over your shoulders?

Do people use wooden barrels anymore? If so, where might I acquire one that's light enough for me to lug around the polling place?

In MO you can campaign as much as you want as long as you are at least 25 feet away from the doors. If you are within 25' you're not allowed to wear shirts, pins, stickers, etc. with anything political info on them. I say just wear a jacket over your shirt and then take it off and pass out literature when you come out.
