Thompson, Kuchinich, Gravel, Richardson(maybe)....

Slow and steady wins the race. We have just started people. We have a looong way to go.

We will prevail.

Kucinich's 2,400 votes would sure help right now.

And there's a strong chance Kucnich would tell he's followers to vote for RP.

Dennis's wife said she would love to be the Vice-Prez to Ron Paul.

If we got 1,000-1,500 of his votes it would be absolutely amazing!

We would be so close to 3rd.

That would be great. "The Odd Couple"

They should make a third party run.

The two guys who cannot win in their own parties can somehow put it all together and take america, the establishment, and the power elites down.

:p:D;):)

I don't know if you could be sure that Kucinich's votes would go to us. Some might, but it's certainly not guaranteed at all. How many of our votes would go to Kucinich if Ron Paul dropped out of the race and Kucinich stayed in? I think not many.

This really is the key. Many of these guys don't have the funds once it looks like they don't win. I plan on supporting RP all the way. I don't think he will leave the race.

#1 Just being in the race is important as a gauge of how many freedom loving people there are.

#2 As the message gets out it will attract votes.

#3 Unfortunatly as the economic conditions continue to worsen and as war fever starts building he will have a national platform to help explain what is going on.

If Ron Paul got all of the votes from ALL of the candidates below him: Thomspon, Kucinich, Gravel, Hunter & Richardson he would only have 14,000 votes. Compare that with McCain's 56,000 and Romney's 48,000. It would only put him BARELY above Rudy at 13,869 and Paul would remain in a distant 4th place. This was calculated at 66% reporting.

Sorry folks. Burying your head in the sand and cheering "go team go" doesn't alter the facts. Ron Paul's message of limited government and personal freedom does not resonate with most voters. This is really not that hard to comprehend, after all Ron Paul's platform is not a win-win situation. Personal liberty requires a lot of sacrifice in the areas of personal financial responsibility and social tolerance and a lot of people are afraid of that. They don't want to accept social practices they don't approve of and curb their insatiable debt-backed consumer appetite in favor of a more responsible lifestyle based on savings and personal responsibility.

Kucinich already told his supporters to vote for obama in the chance they can't vote for him... so I guess party loyalties are still there...

The economy dropping is in favor of ron paul, if enough people remember he is the economy candidate, and not huckabee(how in the heck does fox manage to pretend he's the only one talking about it?). A very obvious flaw with huckabee is the flat tax, which has been debunked very well here http://toryanarchist.wordpress.com/2007/08/27/the-fairtax-fraud/ and in general here http://www.lewrockwell.com/rockwell/tax-reform-racket.html.
