we should do a full page ad in NY Times advertising Boston Tea Party II

Any way that Tea Party 07 image could have Ron Paul's name more prominantly displayed? Its kind of lost at the bottom there...we need name recognition, so his name should probably be bigger and towards the top somewhere.

agreed...the name should be HUGE...and I always like to include ronpaulstopdreaming.com video...it's so damn good!

i have a rly basic site up. its jsut not online yet. I have to wait for the registartion of the domain to go through. I think that takes a couple hours if i remember correctly last time i made a wesbite. In the meantime I am hosting the site I have so far on my other page so you can see what it will look like.

There needs to be an actual event/rally being advertised- a place where everyone can participate.

Then the alternative to not being able to make the actual rally will be also advertised- donations on that date.

That way everyone can take part in it, and it seems much more popular- come here in real life, and if you can't, then participate online.

I agree Ron Paul should be HUGE. But keep the clutter down - it's close to perfect right now.

How far in advance should the ad run - 1 week?

would it be illegal for me to post this picture on the site?

can someone make a pictue of ron paul being in an unidentified newspaper so i dont get sued and do something similar to the picture a few posts up?

Suggestion:

Make the ad an exact copy of the "official" webpage that we'll end up using, complete with address bar, back-forth buttons etc.

Place it on the Sunday before the event, so that the media has a week or so to write stories about the ad. "Thousands of Ron Paul supporters pooled their money to put a full page ad in the New York Times. The ad: an exact copy of the official web page for the Boston Tea Party '07 event, where tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of freedom-loving Americans sign up to pledge to donate to presidential candidate Ron Paul's campaign."

80% of Americans have access to the internet (or did I hear that wrong the other day).

I'm sure that the forum users who donated to the full-page Iowa ad will be able to come together again to start gathering the money for this NY Times ad.

I hereby pledge $100 to this ad.

The 16th isn't going to make $100 million and spending $100,000 on advertising a date to donate is a total waste of money. I apologize for offending anyone with these truths.

What about people that have maxed out, are they allowed to spend money on an ad for Ron Paul?

Truths are only based on past proven facts, since the future is not proven and your not god I assume that you can't expose the truth for the future. And if you read this thread we should be able to get a full page spread for 65k. You don't have to donate. so why comment at all, what purpose does that solve?

.

Are you telling me out of all our supporters we don't have ONE multi-millionaire, willing to lay it all down on the line?
