Oh the money would be easy. I first heard of thisnovember5th.com from watching ron paul's videos on youtube. So many people left comments about the money bomb it was hard to miss, and you know hundreds of thousands of people saw those videos over the past few months. We generated 4.3 million dollars, we can surely generate $60,000. Hell, we might accidently come up with too much, they may have to feature Ron Paul on every page.

Slow down Max, I seriously doubt this is the case. They (as in the rest of the media) can ignore this ad the same way they ignore hundreds of other issue ads in the NYT every year. And I bet the ad will be largely ignored simply because it is Ron Paul.

Now your point about reaching an affluent audience and introducing his ideas to that crowd is a good one, but there are similarly effective ways of doing this without raising $60,000.

If thats true...then why didnt they ignore the Nov 5th bomb? Besides, even if they dont give it the General Betrayus treatment (and I believe they will cover the ad!)....the reach of NY Times is enormous...that $60,000 (or whatever it is) will pay itself back several times over to the campaign....

CNN will cover it, they even showed the forum in the Situation Room today. They gave the event free promotion! By the way, I think an enhanced version of this graphic should be used. This is very clean and catches your attention.

For task #2 I have an e-mail out to Lord Xar of Americans United for Liberty PAC....although I think it would be best to have credit card donations instead of checks mailed....We could be gettting 1000's of small donations and he needs to be able to record the names of all donors for PAC rules

3. Task 3...perhaps you should hook up with the guys setting up teaparty07 and have this effort incorporated right into that site....that site will be HUGE right off the bat....they can record pledges and link people right to the PAC


With these elements in place, our only remaibning obstacle will be in telling the ubiquitous naysayers among us to STFU

64,575 is what Giuliani paid. Normally it's 140k, but if they don't give us the same rate, they have violated Mccain-Feingold... glad they didn't fix that yet

Either way, it's worldwide distribution. Also, it'll be a Ron Paul weekend on the Sunday talk shows... then on Monday they'll be talking about the Bomb that dropped on Sunday... then on Tuesday, they'll be talking about the 3rd attack.

All with Ron Paul sitting in his underwear on the edge of his couch, flipping through the TV channels and watching the totals roll in. Can you think of anyone who deserves it more?

Any way that Tea Party 07 image could have Ron Paul's name more prominantly displayed? Its kind of lost at the bottom there...we need name recognition, so his name should probably be bigger and towards the top somewhere.
