Guys, we have a state coordinator for the Paul campaign in NC. Her name is Sharon Ward and I spoke to her on the phone a few days ago. She told me that the Paul campaign had contacted her to become the State Coordinator for the campaign. She is already the Wake County coordinator for Campaign for Liberty. I wanted Sharon herself to make a post here to introduce herself to those who don't know her, but looks like she is having some trouble with the registration process and so I decided to post on her behalf.

We are kicking off the delegate process with the Raleigh Rally for Ron Paul & Freedom Fest this Saturday, Mar 24th, at the Hampton Inns & Suites, 8021 Arco Corporate Drive, Raleigh, NC 27617. The idea is to get together all supporters and those who have signed up as delegates to discuss further steps. This will also be a good time for the delegates to meet each other, so they know whom to vote for, in the conventions ahead. I have also suggested to Sharon that we conduct a coaching class for Robert's Rules of Order. If you are a Paul supporter, PLEASE be there at the Raleigh Rally. This is our Facebook page for the event: https://www.facebook.com/events/315736975147250/319804834740464/

Sharon is also collecting names, numbers and email IDs of delegates to be passed onto the campaign. I have volunteered to collect this info from the RPFers, so if you trust me enough, please PM this to me. I need full name, phone number, email ID, the house district and congressional district for which you are a delegate. If you are coming for the rally, you can give this information to Sharon herself (or whoever else will be collecting the info there).

First off, who will be coming to the rally? Tickets are available here.

This is interesting to hear. In 2008, we all just tumbled into the district and state conventions without much of an idea what we were getting into. Even when Paul campaigned, it was mainly an airwaves effort in April leading up to the primary.

This guy posted and was trying to hook up with RP NC group: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/member.php?11920-slacker921

I had PMed him a few days ago, but got no reply so far.

Man, are you coming for the rally? We sure could learn a lot from your delegate experiences.

We have a grassroots coordination that Sharon is a part of. If you are not a part of it and are in the delegate process (or want to see if you can still get into it), please give me a holler.

Sharon already have my info, but I will also PM you.

Great power comes with great responsibility

I've been trying to meet with Sharon for a while now, arrived too late for the afterparty on Saturday and happened to be in the room with her husband at another event in Raleigh, but so far only via facebook.

Now that we have an OFFICIAL coordinator for the campaign, she must go FULL FORCE in organizing district groups. We have 13 districts, it can't be that hard to have a list of leaders in that area and make sure that they combine their forces to get their voices heard at the district conventions. I'm in the 1st Congressional district and we need someone to be able to help us connect with other counties in district or else we'll get destroyed at the district convention.

Sharon, it's your responsibility now to connect the dots on these groups if we want to win delegate counts, we only have a month or so to do it. I plead you to assign any other work within the C4L and such to other people and make sure you're throwing 100% into helping organize these district groups, if we fail to get these people to Florida, we can't bet on our only chance of grabbing the nomination for Dr. Paul. I understand that the message of liberty is important, but that is one that doesn't have a time limit.

Our state director is overloaded with phone calls and emails. IT shouldn't be this way. You have 13 Districts? She should have 13 phone calls a day to respond to, nothing more.... Decentralize and delegate!

Each district coordinator should have their own robocall platform, email contact (mailchimp etc.), and contact list from the campaign to utilize for organizing.

I think I just found Sharon on Facebook, and I will PM her.

Thanks so much for the info. As a county delegate going to our district convention, this will definitely help!

I am still trying to contact Sharon. The link on the first post of this thread brought me to linkedin. But, it seems you have to pay for a membership to write to her through that venue. Does anyone have another way to find her, such as her facebook page (i couldn't find it), her email, her number, etc. Anything?

PMed you Sharon's FB profile.

You'll need to clarify that. Each district nominates 3 delegates and 3 alternates. Sounds like you mean 5 Paul stealths are spread among the six total, declared for Romney?
