We need to get this on Drudge: Rick Santorum declines to endorse Mitt Romney

They can create a position for him. He can go into people's homes and check for Jihadists under every bed. Needs a name...
 
you guys attacking santorum? are you clueless? do you not see a major coup coming? did you not read about the national conservative unity slate going all the way to convention at the state level between 2 top campaigns? do we seriously need to explain this? Santorum is siding with us and his supporters are people to!!! Santorum supporters are loving ron paul in colorado! Not sure how you think your gonna win the nomination? but 1+1=2 that means it can be Paul with the help of santorum/paul supporters and the 2 camps picking the vp. Pretty damn obvious if you ask me unless you want romney! so shape up folks get with the program or go support obama/romney 2012 yeah attack the folks and candidate that made a national deal with ron paul! that will get a you a win/sarcasm there.

we know it is a joke but imagine santorum supporters coming here. I made alot of alliances and friends with santorum supporters at the colorado convention. If everyone is on the same page about this. WE CAN WIN the Nomination in Tampa.

but also the only one unifying with us to stop romney at the national level.. the big thing with colorado is no one knew about this unity ticket until 30 minutes before voting on friday before the cd's. so it was a huge shocker as most unity slates are organized at grassroots and state level. This was obvious it came from the top of both and it didn't sit well with many expescially in cd5 colorado. something big is happening i say!

Got to be honest, I didn't see anything negative to santorum supporters in the "santorum declines to endorse mittens"

The vast majority of Santorum supporters (in my opinion) aren't to far off from us. Both groups in general hate the direction that the country is in. They both hate mittens. Both are troubled in that they see romney and obama as one in the same.

To me it comes down to the importants of religion and what role it should play in government. As republicans go, santorum appealed to the social conservatives (whole nother topic on what one actually is) and the paul repulicans appealed to his fiscal policy.

In my opinion there isn't any Santorum OR Paul supporters that will willingly vote for Mittens. If they do vote for mittens they will have the same troubled feelings they had in 08 when they voted for McCain.

I voted for McCain in 08. Probably the dirtyest feelign I've ever had. The more that feel that way this time around, the more liberty minded they will be in '16. Assuming there's anything left to vote for in '16.

I honestly feel that Rand will be the GOP nominee in 16 and he'll blow the doors off what we've been "forced" to vote for since Bush 1. Times are a changin'

I think Santorum is trying to keep his own base the way Ron has his, and to some extent Huck etc kept a dedicated group. He may know he would lose a lot of them if he endorses Romney. I think he wants to build a base for 2016 because the man had ZERO organization this time, he was a distraction. He missed a bunch of delegates from not making ballots etc.
 
Santorum got crushed by the "take one for the team" comment he made. I doubt he does that sort of thing again, esspcially if he continues to have higher political aspirations.
