Most voters are apathetic, so they only vote by party line, and/or only vote for who the media props up.
The media are also the ones labeling Dr. Paul as unelectable and a kook, and the average voter will agree without researching him.
I think if there's a way to get across his message in layman's terms, people may begin to wake up.
If there's not a website/flier out there, kind of like a FAQ, but that shows both sides of the argument, then there needs to be one. A "What 'they' (media/naysayers) say about him" compared to "What Ron Paul is really saying." Or some such. Basically, a FAQ that debunks the media's misinformed jargon with an explanation of Ron Paul's positions that help people understand why he (and everyone) should support them.
The media's smear of him being racist is a great example. His message of INDIVIDUAL rights over collectivism clearly debunks this, plus the fact that he didn't even write those newsletters.
