We need a celebrity endorsement? Mel Gibson, Clint Eastwood?

I'm sure The South Park creators support him (not sure if they would endorse him publicly though... why not try and email them?)

Someone like Clint Eastwood or the Terminator Governor would be fine.

I guess you can't turn down unsolicited endorsements but Mel Gibson would definitely
hurt more than he would help.

I wouldn't even think about the govenator.

Mel would be too controversial, although he would be a tremendous asset for producing some truly high end patriotic, freedom oriented campaign commercials.

Clint would be the jackpot endorsement.

IMHO, the only truly good suggestions are Clint Eastwood and Bruce Springsteen.

Mel Gibson, and his crazy father are not good. I'm a jew and I have a hard enough time selling Ron Paul to my family.

contact Bill Maher and ask him if he'd be willing to campaign with Ron Paul as a celebrity supporter and if he knows other celebrities who support Ron Paul
possibly also add jim cramer to that list
contact all your favorite rock band blogs and see if you can get Ron Paul discussions going... and maybe a few Rock Bands might be interested in endorsing Ron Paul
I heard John Mayer supports Ron Paul, not sure about that, but he's popular with a lot of girls ;)
letterman endorsed Ron Paul in 1988... see if he'll do it again
Tucker Carlson maybe will bring some more random people to Ron Paul events to stir up some sort of media coverage of Ron Paul... some may say Tucker Carlson did a bad job at the end of november with bringing those people in Nevada, but he got people talking about Ron Paul some more...

LEE MAJORS! The original "Six Million Dollar Man". Now that Ron Paul is the Six Million Dollar Man for the 21st century due to the Money Bomb, let's go with that spin.

Yeah, Gibson definitely won't work, but it would be nice to get him cranking out some campaign ads.

Eastwood is my top pick....trumps the heck out of Norris.

Majors might be good for a funny, quirky campaign ad, but not sure how that helps us; that's more Hickabee's schtick.

Eastwood would be great! Maybe it's my southern roots, but I wonder where Andy Griffith stands in comparison to Ron's stance on the Iraq War? He certainly shares Ron's conservative views.

Bruce Willis should be on the shortlist too, but we don't need Hollywood as much as we need reputable politicians! Contact your governors, senators, etc. Also people like Ross Perot, Jesse Ventura, etc...

Toby Keith

What's his position on the war? I suspect that most country music stars would be too afraid of being Dixie-Chicked, no matter what they actually believed, which doesn't speak well for that rugged American spirit that they're supposed to represent, I guess. I'd love to be wrong.

Ron Paul and John Mayer

It was great to see John Mayer come out in support of Dr. Ron Paul and in support of the constitution! And who can choose the way he did it? Since he's always followed by media wherever he goes, he didn't exactly choose the confrontation. The battle came to him and he stood up for Ron Paul - camera or no camera!

Frankly I'm a little shocked that people are offended by the question of his sobriety. The camera caught the musician in an unguarded moment, that's all. His friend claimed Paul Wolfowitz did nothing wrong - and he takes a verbal pounding from Mayer who maintained that what he is talking about is the issue of constitutionality. Ron Paul supporters like myself are VERY happy about this development.

There is strong support for Neocons like Paul Wolfowitz in the entertainment industry and for no good reason given that America was misled by them about the Bojinka threat which they ignored - and misled again about Iraq threat which they hyped. John Mayer is a brave man to stand up to them even when reminded that the media was there to capture his every word.
