I know it's really difficult but there HAS to be a way to make the media regret their treatment of our candidate. I am already boycotting CNN for their absolutely disgusting treatment (or lack thereof) of Ron Paul this week. enough is enough. MSNBC is also on the hit list. So right now i'm stuck watching FAUX NEWS for updates and I'm adding them to the list after tonight because I'm sick of them, too.

So, I'm not going to their websites for their retarded polls. I'm not going to give them hits, or viewership or anything. So I'm calling for a general blackout of the media.

But there has to be more that we can do.

You know, I was thinking the same thing as your title line, but in different words. The words that came to my mind are "War on the Media".

But the best way to war on the media is to make them irrelevant. And the way we make them irrelevant is by destroying people's trust in the media.

It could start by making everyone in the US aware of the court case that said the media can lie. The other thing we need to do is watch...and document the lies...by a photo, a youtube, etc.. And then we keep educating people. It's not just about their lies about Ron Paul....though that is what is painful to us.

Boycotting the media itself wont work. Boycott the lifeline that feeds the media, the companies that pay for ads on these networks. Example: During the CNN post debate I remember seeing cisco systems commercials. I'm sure some Ron Paul supporters are IT guys, if you have any clout in your company and you run Cisco hardware do whatever you can to dump them in favor of something else.

The only MSM channel worth watching is Fox Business. There you'll find Napolitano, Stossil, Dobbs & Cavuto. All are pretty respectable toward Ron Paul.

Well, I ain't getting rid of my tv. My wife and my kids would have a fit - though I'm pretty sure I could do without it.
So I guess it would make sense, then, to organize some sort of boycott of advertisers. I don't exactly have alot of time in my life but perhaps between myself and a few other diligent people we could compile a list of advertisers that we could then distribute through social media and try and have a real impact on them.

I think this is the only thing that will help with the media we need to call their advertisers and make sure they know we refuse to purchase their products if they continue to advertise with any of the media outlets who do hit pieces on or ignore Ron.

The only feeling they have are in the wallet.

We could use ads just like justin.tv and youtube does. It would have to be a VERY SMALL style justin tv clone.

Only a few channels instead of hundreds.

I'd be willing to help out with it. I have tons of public doman 80s and horror movies in amazing quality. I also have axcess to L.A. beaches and could do a live beach feed camera or on-scene stuff. Even x-games type stuff like skate, surfing and volleyball contests. Alt, punk, skate, electro Concerts as well.

I think people would like it.

I honestly would never support a Ron Paul love fest channel, as much as I wouldn't support a neocon propaganda machine like FOX or what the dems have like MSNBC. A political news channel, which has a perspective from the constitution and not corporations would be ideal. But by and large internet channels don't change much, there's a lot of independent news out there that haven't made ito n cable and they're generally regarded as fringe and don't cater to who we need like seniors its just more of the same.

The only real solution is to start an actual cable news network anyone got a few billion dollars?

Anything to compete is impossible until then, the revpac stream was great, but it only made us feel better and didn't solve a problem.

An unbiased news website that has all of the FUN stuff I mentioned. That is how you KEEP people going to the site. You have to include the public domain movies and live feeds from concerts, events, parties. etc. Who wouldn't like that?????
