We have come so far most of you have no idea

It's really so exciting, isn't it? I'm going to need a double dose of Melatonin to get any sleep tonight. I lurked on this board for a long time before registering- the excitement of the Iowa caucus got me to register in Jan 2008 (many of us registered for that iirc). We were so excited then so let down, not understanding how so few could see what was so obvious to us. It took many of us a long time to accept the idea that most of the country wasn't going to get as excited as us (which I found mind boggling at the time) and usher in Paul in 2008. Tonight is so very SWEET. I can only imagine how Dr. Paul feels.

What a long strange trip it has been. :)

And continues to be, of course.

Wow, those clips really take me back!

In msot of those instances, I remember seeing those live and fuming about these thick-headed pundits. But God willing, our win tonight and any future successes will turn the tide.

It's awesome that some planted seeds but after leaving and coming back I was in awe of the new supporters on the boards and am so grateful that they're out doing everything they do. It is absolutely everyone who shares their passion for restoring our constitution and our republic, regardless of how long they've been doing it.

In my old RP meetup (I moved) there were a few people who campaigned for Barry Goldwater. I think Paul once referred to this segment of society as "the remnant", always there and dissenting but it never really grows. There's a write up about that somewhere and I remember it really hitting home. Somehow the "remnant" is growing, though. Like a wildfire! :)
 
The most refreshing thing this cycle is the almost utter lack of hearing about 9/11 truth. It's just so much better this time with none of that silly shit.
