Excited to see a date that makes sense for this effort! I see a ton of people being able to go for this one.
This will take much more then a forum to market this event though. I think either funds need to be raised to hire an event promoter OR we find ron paul supporters who can easily do that job.
Our grassroots support base is shrinking somewhat as far as ACTIVE but I know when it came back to it and Ron Paul or someone like him came up for election that those in the shadows would come back out and odds are the next time around we can EASILY take the white house and our country back.
Events like this NEED to happen. It is not simply a ron paul message, it is OUR founding fathers message that has ALWAYS BEEN THERE and ron paul and others like him have been screaming about this for YEARS.
We just finally WOKE UP but need to CONTINUE what ron paul continued and so on. Its a chain that NEEDS to continue UNTIL we get our nation back.
1,000 people rallies are GREAT because it shows that someone cares and is better then NO rally. Efforts are being made but I just hope we do a little better at organizing MASSIVE events and only host LARGE events.
Like for instance, like the free state project we could also do it so the event cost $20 per person or whatever BUT presell it so that the event will NOT even get setup UNTIL XXXXXXXX amount of people have 100% signed up for it.
This could also cut down on flopped events that I can see happening without real organization.
Something is ALWAYS better then nothing but I hope our "something" means HUGE EVENTS.

Yes! Great work with the organizing Deborah, I'm sure you spent many an hour to get everything together. Good job to everyone involved, but now that we have a date set it's time for anyone and everyone with interest to start getting the word out. See you all there

Don't you hate that? I really feel for you.
It seems like I can have nothing going on for months. Then I'll have something that I really want to do - I instantly have a conflict with some sort of obligation that I can't get out of.

He needs to keep it separate for legal reasons. All though he could post that he is going to the rally but not organizing it hence keeping himself separate.
So yes, e-mail the campaign and ask them too if they don't with in a week or couple. Give them time and have some respect.

We have a team of travel planners who will help out in this area, for anyone who needs it. Have you signed on at the revolution march website? You can start your own page there and mention in it that you would like to stay with other RP Marchers. Also, there is a forum on the site to discuss this as well. Are you part of your local meetup group? Maybe your group and travel and stay together?
Actually, I recommend everyone contact their RP meetup groups whether you are a member or not, and let them know about this event, and see if you can work together on travel arrangements.
I'll see what I can do to get a link up asap on the site regarding travel planning.

I was sleeping on it last night. We need a thought-provoking theme that may make a great promotion.... I thought of something along with the line like
"Something big's gonna happen!"

Print that out on shirts, buttons or chain necklace with military tags, so that get people to become curious and ask us what those dates are about. Just an idea...

I am going to try and get everything organized so I can get my family and I down there for this one. It is for 1 in the summer and 2 in a month that allows for a higher chance of "regular" people wanting to go instead of the "diehard tuesday" event previously.
Weekends do better for a reason and sometimes waiting for the right time makes much more sense then just throwing something together just to get it going.
I think this rally/march whatever is going to be a ton of fun with much more then 1k there no problem.
We need to do a pledge with a donation to count people if possible. Hold people accountable instead of the ton who just say "yeah I will go" and really know they can't wont or are unable.
I don't know what could be done for that BUT I thought it would be cool, whether everyone buys a ticket or something just to make sure donations for this event are in abundance.
We need CASH and PEOPLE and MEDIA.
