We Got a SUPERBOWL AD?

ok someone has to make this video now... its a great idea.

That has to be the worst idea ever. maybe not ever, but it's pretty bad. Super Bowl ads have to funny. The ad will have to generate talk after the game.

Keep in mind that this ad will be seen mostly by people that don't follow the primaries. This might be the first time they even hear of Ron Paul. I think the best thing would be the mystery route. maybe a message a couple time during the bowl saying "Do you Ron Paul?" and a final add "Google Ron Paul" maybe google could help pay for the commercial.:D

A commercial that brings up some of the other candidates flaws in a humorous way could be great in my opinion.

Yeah something on a sound stage with Ron Paul holding the constitution before hundreds of people and everybody going "OOOOHHHH AHHHHHHH!" then a bright light beams from him and the constitution and heavenly music echoes all around.. then suddenly it stops and a director walks in and says "Ok, thats a little too over the top"? To which Dr Paul responds.. "Have you seen my competition? I have to be over the top!" Then the director points to the guys and gals from the first tv ad waiting off stage then Dr Paul goes.. "OH HECK NO!"

Then the commercial ends with a narrator.. "Ron Paul.. Yet still trying to make a decent TV Spot"

Want to do something useful?

Arizona early ballots will be mailed out starting today and tomorrow, and Maricopa County alone will be mailing out 240,000.

We need to personally call each and every one of these voters to ask for their vote. This is like calling somebody while they're standing in the voting booth, and to reach everyone we need more help!

If you have any time available between now and next Monday, January 14, please send an email to [email protected] with your name and how many hours you can volunteer. An Arizona win is within our reach, and we need your help!

"Don't make 2009 like 1984."

Someone go make an ad with that theme. I'd love to, but I'm a novice when it comes to making videos.

This is the only video I've seen that is Superbowl worthy ATM

i concur, this one is MADE for the superbowl and the target market who watches it. Patriotic, and small very POSITIVE soundbyte messages. even the color scheme and the music are spot on.

also... i dont think a superbowl ad necessarily a waste. i mean yes that is a lot of money to spend...

but superbowl ads, are... well quite frankly the superbowl of the AD world. they show these ads on the friggin NEWS every year.

getting a superbowl ad would be news in and of itself (though im sure the MSM wont cover it.) and it pays for itself by generating buzz simply by being a superbowl ad... not to mention a direct communication straight to a HUGE target market.

i dont know if that's worth actual cost, but make no mistake a superbowl ad would be a pretty big deal as far as advertisement. much more than the blimp, even.

Let's push this one for the superbowl, and eliberty's for regular programming. I think this one is perfect for the party atmosphere...People will let it seep in...Eliberty's will get washed away with the peanuts and beer. Nobody wants to think war, destruction, and death during a superbowl. Come on people, some of you have no imagination. Eliberty is good, but does not fit the format. Please, let's push this one.

I thought we couldn't get the rights to the CCR song. Without that, the ad isn't as good.

don't agree...the other one is More exciting. This one is too downcast. Im sorry, nobody wants a bummer for the superbowl. If we do it, we do it in a positive manner. The other flashy one is the best for that format. ;)

Agreed. The eLiberty ad is great for regular programming but the other ad is absolutely incredible for the super bowl atmosphere.

God please let this be true!! Holy shit, I am getting so excited thinking about this!! :-)

Agreed. The "Fortunate Son" ad is THE commercial if we're permitted to run a Superbowl ad. Perfect song. Perfect venue. Perfect target market (everyone) and it's worth the cost, including any song royalties. It could be catchy enough to wake the sheep from their nappy-nap. Maybe it's time to flood HQ with some emails about the idea.
