We DID WIN Washington!!

It's pretty funny to keep the GOP and everyone else guessing though... Would be nice to see a WIN on TV. Holding out hope for Texas. Think about it - they are probably crapping their pants with those uncommitted delegates.

All you are accomplishing is giving false hope to the gullible and distraught. And you call me a troll.

I put over 100 hours and $1000 into this grassroots effort and you call me a troll. You are just a freaking joke. Ron Paul got 21% of the state delegates to McCain's 26%. Until you can provide any evidence to the contrary kindly STFU. People like you make the rest of us look bad. All you are doing is spinning and distorting. Closing your eyes and pretending we won doesn't do anything.

I understand your frustration, but I think you're confusing delegates and straw poll.

You might be more persuasive with more people if you could try to understand the difference between the two.

Let me help you.

Early in the process, a straw poll is taken where the Presidential preference of the caucus goers is recorded. It is the results of the straw poll that are sent to the media.

After that, delegates are elected. No one really knows, at least officially, much of anything about these delegates. Some may be Ron Paul supporters, some may be McCain supporters. Others may be Ron Paul supporters who put "uncommitted" down on their form because they were hoping to appeal to a wider segment of the populace when trying to win a position as delegate. Point being, about delegates, we don't know yet.

I hope that clears that up for you.

You can now, because you've been properly informed, stop saying that McCain won more delegates.

Be careful spouting off too many verified facts. You'll probably get labled a troll and told to leave. I should know because it's been happening to me all day. McCain won Washington. We thought that Paul was screwed over in Louisiana, but he wasn't even a factor there. Huckabee won Louisiana.

Yea, I wonder why. More misinformation. I see you everywhere, Jeff43, and you're always spouting the same trash. Nice sig.

I think Ron Paul won Massachusetts too. I hear that all of the Romney votes are going for Ron Paul.

What if the undeclared in all of the states vote for Ron Paul? I think we might have the majority of the national delegates!

Oh my God guys, we might be winning the election right now!

Are fortilite, and the trolls jeff w/e etc a bunch of 10 year olds??

They have no freakin clue how the process works yet spout on and on about how right they are. You are wrong and look like a bunch of clowns defending your ignorance. Do some research.

I think many of the trolls are just are spies that don't have the fortitude to do the research themselves, so are getting an education here with the added benefit of riling people up. They're pond scum.

lol this is a much funnier way to get your point across, but i have to say that internet sarcasm = very dry humor, the lack of intonation is a killer

If you can't make any kind of logical argument to get your point across, I guess sarcasm is all that is left.

I don't know what happened in Washington today, but you guys crack me up! ROFL

Parocks, don't try to use logic here, you'll only confuse the morons. Next they will talk about how Paul did bad in Florida, another winner take all state.

I've got my argumentation strategies.

Typically, I'm not actually arguing with the person.

I'm presenting a side of an argument. I'm trying to explode his argument so that other people reading it will disregard everything he says.

Thing is, there are elements of what he is saying that are based in truth.

We do tend to misinterpret facts and always to our benefit.

For instance, there is a lot of anecdotal evidence that we did a good job of getting delegates. Our people are committed, McCain's aren't. But we really don't know if we're only hearing about situations where we kicked ass, and not situations where our ass was kicked.

It's nice to be able to just write in a fact that we're always kick ass at getting delegates.

It will be very interesting to hear detailed stories about what happens at these county conventions, state conventions all across the country.

Gut feeling tells me that all across the country there are party establishments who might not want to support Ron Paul. They might have a pretty good understanding of all the tricks and might want to stop us from getting a whole bunch of delegates. We are well organized and well informed, and, well, I just think that process will be interesting

Wow....you guys are getting so pissed over nothing.

I'm not sure why you people think that the straw poll % = delegate %. I'm also not sure why the people who understand that are so pissed off.

Probably just the attitude the last few days.

The issue is the gallery - that is, the people just stopping by. Many here would love to just ignore the trolls and misinformation, but nobody wants actual casual Ron Paul supporters checking out these boards to be filled with misinformation and become disheartened. Therefore, there is a need to correct the troll, at which point the troll goes na-na-na-ican'thearyou and repeats his misinformation ad naseum. And the cycle continues. People get riled up.

I worry about morale. There is some time until county conventions and if people think Ron Paul has dropped out they won't show up or pay the fee needed to get in.

On the other hand, we could become a force to reckoned with if we all show up to our conventions and McCain's people don't.

Take me for instance - I have no idea how the delegate thing works, I just know that we need them! So you guys going back and forth makes me dizzy, but like I said, I believe this is true because there are 30% uncommitted that are more than likely Ron Paul delegates, and that's all I care about :)

Dudes, you're being very undudelike. I can understand the crap we heard in some states, where people get on this board and say, "I heard from my cousin in Des Moines that Ron Paul took 50 delegates" and then the results show Paul gets 7%, causing folks to be apprehensive about this. But this is not one of those cases. Right now- even if we get zero uncommitteds- we have gotten over 20% of the delegates in a state. Can you list any other states where we got near that amount?

Why he sent that e-mail out yesterday is beyond me. He should have had polling that indicated he had strong support here and gone balls to the wall to get a solid win that could be reported to the press- right now a lot of the news sites are saying things like McCain in for Bumpy Ride or shit like that because of what happened in Kansas and Louisiana. Imagine if we clearly won Washington? McCain would not have beent he annointed one and they'd been giving us more cred.

John, you guys did very well, thanks for your efforts. I have no idea why anyone who supports Ron Paul would try and undermine you.

Please let us know what happens.

We'll report back from the county caucuses in a few weeks and keep you up to speed. We have the primary here in about 10 days to appoint theother half of the delegates. For those of you in the 20 some odd states that still have to vote I say, "Don't be big vaginas! Go out and vote you sons of bitches!"
