So busy yesterday. First time I have read this thread...bravo!

I see üs having the same type of firepower at our conventions down here in Washington. We'll be organized and turn out in force for change. Washington Paulites will look forward to going toe to toe with the current GOP guard...we'll wipe the floor with them.

This is a perfect example of what can be done and why everyone needs to stay in the Republican Party to work at the local levels to change it.

+1 . Get Ron Paul's new Book The Revolution A Manifesto, get involved in local politics, and change the party from bottom up. Next time an election comes around, we WILL be the base of the party, and we WILL win the nomination for any candidate of our choosing.

Ill tell you what people.... I believe that this was the goal of HQ from the start. RP ran to win but realistically understood how slim the chances were.... this is how he is really making an impact and why we will ultimately win. I have heard of similar reports coming out of other states.

The GOP is so fractured it wont be that hard to take them over state by state by determined supporters. We can get enough state delegates to the convention they will not be boring that is for sure. At first I was dissapointed that RP did not win Alaska so what was the point of going to the state convention to vote for Huckabum or McWar.

Then after talking to one of the RP alaska organizers realized we have a good chance to change the GOP here from the inside out. That means senators and representatives elected to state and D.C. have to follow our consitutional platform or they are out. Good fun to be able to wield power over senators.

Well, I don't know how New York works, but you need to show up at whatever Republican Party convention you can and get in on the voting, and if you can, get all the Ron Paul supporters you can possibly muster to come with you and be prepared to pay whatever fees are required to become delegates to the state convention. In Alaska we had to dish out $200 per person for this... the most willing people are the people who have already contributed money to the national campaign, so we contacted all of them first.

The national campaign paid for a couple people that couldn't afford it (coordinated with state HQ) but we mostly paid for ourselves and each other.

We were completely silent about this. This organization and planning was going on for some time, but I didn't even post on this forum because I didn't want it to get out to ANYONE, even as much as I wanted to suggest the other states do the same thing we were doing.

We showed up with no visible Ron Paul banners, stickers, pins, or anything. We didn't say a word about Ron Paul the entire convention. We acted like we didn't know each other. I think by the end of the convention, everyone had it figured out that there was a big ol' Ron Paul conspiracy in their midst, but by then it was too late.

There's nothing crooked about fighting for free markets and free minds.

Seeking power is crooked, but you can't do that and be a consistent Ron Paul Republican.
