The fact that we are in charge of the State GOP's, the State GOP's that we control can start mass campaigns advocating jury nullification and the disobedience of unconstitutional laws such as tax evasion, gun possession crimes, drug laws, etc.

This is the first time in decades that libertarians controlled State GOP's. I don't think we even know how significant this is.

Yup and we are paving the way for upcoming elections by getting elected to positions within the GOP Party structure. We have to keep it up. We're doing great.

Damn Skippy! Presidents come and they go controlling the state GOP's can be done for decades at a time. Besides power must returned to Representatives and Senators, which are placed into nomination by .... you guessed it the state G.O.P. leadership.

I meant that we send out newsletters advertising for memberships, we then advocate jury nullification and disobedience of federal laws that are unconstitutional. Political parties historically been about winning elections esp major political parties but we can do more than that now that we are in charge.

YES!

Are you referring to the state legislatures? Or the federal?

Delegates and party leadership are responsible for both. If you control the GOP you control half of the entire political equation. Time for FREEDOM DEMOCRATS to take over the DNC.

If you could, would you trade all of the state GOPs that Paul supporters control for Ron Paul being President for four years?

Nope. Because it's most imperative to influence who GOP supports/nominates for Congress. Without liberty candidates in Congress, current state of affairs will continue. And while I really want to see Ron Paul at the helm of our country, if I had to choose, I'd choose taking over the party. In that sense, Ron Paul has already won.

Easy question to answer, NO! Not even a debate in my mind about it. One man in one or even two terms can do little to nothing, Ron Paul is running for president not supreme ruler. Our system is about a strong Congress and a weak Executive with limited powers. In a true Republic The People are the power. This is why taking over the GOP political apparatus is the BIG ENCHILADA.

P.S. Ron Paul cannot save you. You must save yourself.

This has never been about RP ruling from the top-down, IMO. It's always been about true believers in his message taking control of the party from the ground-up and that is what we've done and will continue to do long after 2012.
