We all realize Wyoming delegates are NOT decided by people... right?

We shouldn't have expected anything from Wyoming. Most observers didn't understand the rules.

The Wyoming county conventions were NOT open to Republican voters. Eligible delegates consisted of only two groups: Republican party officials who were elected in 2006; and delegates who were appointed (by established precinct organizations) to fill empty delegate seats.

There was little chance for new party activists to participate in this process, only old-timers made the choice.[/I]http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/018271.html

Will be lucky to get anything in Wyo. Romney stopped by to drop off his checks to his buddies. NH is where it's at.

It is time for new blood in the GOP, I am sick of these old cronies making ignorant decisions on my behalf.

If any state was for sale, this was it.

Moneybags Romney could have stimulated the economy just by showing up and giving his talks. Big conflict of interest in this system.

We need NH to lite a match that forces Pauls face in MSM.

I wonder why the members of the Wyoming State Republican Party put up with that system? Afterall, it's not written in stone - party rules can be changed.

Why not. This way they get to control everything. It's about power, control and ego. No democracy involved - just connected, long standing politicians telling us who the next president should be.

What I wonder is why the people of Wyoming are such sheep? They sould stand up and demand a more democratic process.

Not surprisingly, the King of ALL Neocons, our Vice President, is from Wyoming.

at least huckabee hasn't gotten any delegates so far.... I can throw that back in their faces when they make a comment about Paul's 10% in Iowa.

I do remember reading an article or two that confirmed Ron Paul supporters were trying to get involved, but the system there is about worthless and it doesn't let the people have a voice at all....

Jan Larimer, Wyoming's Republican national committeewoman, said her area — Teton County, in western Wyoming — turned out several Romney and Ron Paul supporters at the precinct caucuses. About one-fourth of the county convention delegates were chosen at the precinct caucuses.

They did show up, but the system there sucks.

Here's my report on Natrona County: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=77234

Shouldn't be surprising that Romney's sons were there to speak at the end. I didn't stick around for that.
