Talk slowly with no sign of anger.
Talking fast about complicated things in an angery tone will only scare off the sheep.

I've seen it first hand with my 66 year old mother. Ron scares her and she has no idea what he is talking about. Everything is over her head.
She totally does not understand his message.
I then explain to her what Ron actually said but she looks at me with disbelief.
I am encouraging her not to vote.
She is not alone many in her generation are lost but most of them vote.

The really old that still have their mind are open to the message.
At 80 he has seen what true freedom was all about in his childhood.It is the boomer generation that has been looking to the media and government for direction their whole life that are lost.
But they vote in higher numbers than any other age group.

I think the Department of Education was established in 1953. My mother graduated in 1959.
She would have been the first year to graduate high school under the Department after a full 6 years of high school.
She is also computer illiterate and relies completely for the MSM for her news.
You younger guys have an advantage of being on the internet for how many years now getting an alternate view point.
There is hope. Please continue the fight even if Dr. Paul is not elected.

I wouldn't say many in her generation are lost at all. My mother is in that generation and she is voting for Ron Paul. There are just as many, if not more, 20 year olds that are lost than there are 60 year olds. Ron Paul is appealing to educated people of all ages. The problem here is not generational, but rather educational level. Too many are voting that don't have a clue what it is they are actually voting for. There really should be a minimal test of major candidates stand on the issues before a person is allowed to vote.
