+1, but I went with Miss Rand's atheist approach, saying God hasn't been proven, so the fact that you say you can't make a decision is irrational. (not to hijack the thread or anything...)

I questioned my Christianity after "speaking in tongues" at a Christian camp and knowing I was only speaking gibberish while the "Pastor's assistants" came around and touched our foreheads, affirming our Tongues-speaking ability.

I watched this movie a year ago. It gives most of us Christians a very bad name. Of course it was made by someone who's effort wasn't exactly to pay homage to Christians in this country.

Showing people who are simple people of the land in the midwest(it was made in Missouri it could have been made anywhere in the heartland)...haven't really developed critical thinking skills and believe in God with all their might. Most of these people are really good law abiding Americans who just tend to be one of the many groups that believe our leaders have only "good intentions" because our leaders live in America...are Americans...so they falsely believe they must be Godly people. It's very difficult to convince them otherwise, but it's stupidity and blind faith....not evil. There are so many people that honestly believe Bushy is simply a good god fearing Christian cause he says so.

As far as the "babbling" Many Christian's believe different things about "speaking in tounges"...I for one have always been really skeptical when I see someone doing it so publically. That isnt' scriptural and wasn't meant to make people feel awkward when observing it.
I can understand how this type of thing can frighten others. All these kids are doing is what they have been taught. That is what is frightening to me.

I would like to think there are some missing writings, perhaps another letter or two by Paul and maybe one day it will be revealed. I'm waiting to hear about the discovery of a 450' wooden runabout in the mountains of Iran!

Perhaps the Romans WERE spooked by the writings of the Law and Prophets, and perhaps there were some 'inserts' that don't belong, but the scripture a.k.a. "The Bible" is the closest collection of documents we have available that reveal God's plan for mankind and to poo-poo the pearls within will only hinder your walk.

The Bible is a collection of writings from 40 different 'inspired' authors, spanning about 3000 years. The amazing thing is that ALL these authors are of one mind and agree on the same message: "One day, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord."

I understand its not all christians. most thinking people understand this but i saw the whole show to.It was pretty scary.
