That would please me as well.

...but it would displease most GOPers.

...and what would please me most is actually winning the election.

No I think people assumed he would have a star role as an advocate, kind of like his wife was for a while. We need more people to endorse the horse so to speak because frankly Rand's popularity numbers have no where to go but up right now. I saw an interview where people were saying that they want Marco Rubio but with Rand's policies and positions and people are flocking to kind eyes Cruz because his campaign is pushing a message to liberty supporters that he is just like Rand on all of the liberty issues but can get elected because of his polling so you should vote for him and not Rand.

He watched what happened to his father. If he hadn't endorsed Romney, they would have howled that he was not a real Republican.

Who cares. This is why Trump is ahead. he says what he thinks and the rest be dammed. Ron was like this before the corrupt Bentons twisted him out of shape. Trump isn't afraid of anything.

And one more thing- Rand talking about Libertarians "smoking pot and running around naked" didn't help in the least. What the hell was he thinking? Did this little nugget just spring out of his messy head or did an "adviser" put it there? What an absolute fail. If I never heard of this Rand person again it would be fantastic. Then maybe I could regain some of the admiration I used to have for Ron.
