Great to see more press on this. Some good comments on the article.

Thanks for posting. Glad I got to see that article. He handled himself very well amongst the doe-doe-brained TSA employees. ;-/ What jerks. Their minds have been sufficiently manipulated and dumbed-down over recent years for them to feel "threatened" by absolutely nothing! ;-/

But one of the detaining officers said he was "not all that ready to let him walk" back onto the concourse, and held him for another five minutes.

Illegal Detention. he was already supposed to be released. SUE the life out of that ass and set a precedent. I don't like frivolous lawsuits but this case needs to strike fear into officers of not following the laws.

"As a general rule, passengers are required to cooperate with the screening process. Cooperation may involve answering questions about their property, including why they are carrying a large sum of cash. A passenger who refuses to answer questions may be referred to appropriate authorities for further inquiry," the TSA said.

As a general rule I follow the constitution, and the laws of the land. I do not cooperate out of fear. If they can show a law that specifies they can require the information then so be it. However until there is such a law striping us of our rights the can kindly go to hell. This is why i will NEVER fly again.

Read my signature. I don't care what laws are passed, it violates the 4th amendment. It is no law.

Can't help but notice that Ron Paul is still a third party candidate and no longer a doctor. But, yes, I've seen worse...

I will NEVER fly again.

Don't look at me. I didn't like it all that much when they made a pretense of civility.

This ties in nicely with the MIAC story, probably one of the reasons it was picked up. Both need to be pursued.

Missouri sure has some egg on their face huh?

First the report, now they are harassing someone because he had "too much cash" on him.

Heavens knows you shouldn't be walking around with cash, only suspicious people have cash.

For people from some countries, it's EXTREMELY common for them to have only cash on them (several thousand dollars). Countries where the philosophy is not to in debt yourself to eternal purgatory, but to actually go on vacation and pay cash for your entire trip.

Crazy that the TSA faulted the guys for talking like assholes, but they justified their actions with the "suspicious amount of large cash" thing.

Anybody Catch FOX Business Channel program 'HAPPY HOU' today?

Cody Willard & Rebecca Diamond had "The Judge" Andrew Napolitano on the show... and they too, covered the story and played the Clip of the TSA official using his both Tyrant and Foul mouth with subtitles. It was most excellent!

If someone has the YouTube of Happy Hour clip... it would be a great addition to the thread.

PS: They also has some Kenyesian Hedge Fund Smuck on the show, quoting Kenyes from the 30's depression and that "Emotion" is the problem... what an A$$HAT.
