War Propaganda - looking for examples

I have an idea, and if anyone likes this idea, your help would be greatly appreciated.

I want to put together a video to help wake up people who are still buying all the propaganda and supporting the neverending wars.

I want to compile all the blatant propaganda and lies, going all the way back to the first Gulf War. Anyone remember that? :o Remember the whole "babies being yanked out of incubators" story, with that girl crying.... and then it turned out to be completely fake?

They've been doing the same thing for so long now, every time they want to sell a war. There's always a boogeyman or babies being killed, or other horrific stories designed to get everyone angry and gung ho about going to war.

So, if you can think of examples (that turned out to be known lies) could you post the clips here?

I've noticed you guys are good at catching when they use the same person for two different things, and stuff like that.

Not if it's clearly pointed out to be false. The problem is, usually by the time people realize it's false, it's too late and then people forget about it. I think compiling examples will remind them and hopefully cause people to stop believing everything they hear from the major media.

Yes, of course, but since many here seem to be extra savvy on this stuff, I figured it would be much better and quicker to ask for help instead of trying to find examples on my own by wading through hundreds of pages of google. But no worries either way.

I like you idea of working on this. I'm kind of drawing a blank at the moment but hope to contribute. If you are trying to persuade others, I would caution you to be careful when using some of the more controversial conspiracies that don't have enough proof but people should post them anyways.

One thing that comes to mind (and I won't be wording it correctly for public consumption) is the chickenhawk.

I agree about using things that are iffy. I want to try to stick to clear cut cases... things that are undeniable.
