Walter Jones wont lose because of his stance on immigration. They are definitely going to push for some sort of amnesty in 2015. Walter Jones will be 1 of the few hardliners in 2015 and 2016 in NC.

Amnesty hasn't been brought up for a house vote since 2010.

They are saying: You can be for amnesty for illegal aliens, support same-sex marriage, be pro-choice on abortion, and you can still be welcome in our party. But oppose foreign aid or resist the War Party agenda, and you are a heretic who should and shall be purged.

And this is how we lose in 2016. It will be a repeat of the GWB campaign, only this time it will be Jeb talking about non-intervention and strength through trade. The base might not pay attention to such things, but the power brokers do. And when they see the non-interventionist messaging getting traction, they will include it in their talking points until after the election.

Which should make it a high priority debate topic for Rand. Rand can put the establishment candidates behind the eight ball by talking up the likelihood of establishment windbags having zero credibility with their "conservative" talking points (pointing to George W. Bush as evidence).
