Walmart Bans Ammo Sales in Baltimore Due To Riots

So they think people don't have the ability to drive out to another location where they can buy ammo?

They don't want to do anything that might stop more CVS's from getting burned, or their customers from getting killed or at least maimed.

Meh...

Any responsible gun owner who is interested in self defense probably already has a box of bullets which should be plenty to last for the duration of this thing.

Well, here in New Jermany, Wal-mart has never sold ammo. However, I am more than well prepared to defend myself and loved ones. Mostly thanks to all the good shit I've learned here on RPF.

Who is going to put their life on the line to defend a CVS? Just save all the footage and send it to the insurance company.

I don't know if they do it any more, but http://www.ammoman.com/ is in the middle of NJ and they at least used to do pickup. ie: you come in an pick up. call and ask. Shipping is built into their prices so you would get a discount by picking it up and if you go in with friends you can get a serious discount on top of that by buying a LOT - like a pallet worth.

It looks like the ammo shortages are over. They seem well stocked, .223 is starting at 33 cents a round instead of 50 cents and battle packs and Lake City are back. I see you can buy a box of some things, which is new. Normally their minimum order is a case.

It appears that MA and NY have banned the sale of mail order ammo. Not a good trend. They can't ship to Chicago or Washington D.C. either, but they do ship to the rest of IL.
