Wake up! Most of us ought to run for office!

Im sure many supporters are qualified to run. Just Imagine If we have congressmans, mayors in every state that belong to Ron Paul group then we can achieve our goal.

Many Ron Paul supporters should change their thinking. They should start asking themselves the questions like:
Can I run for office?
Where can I get info about How To Run For Office?
And... Can Ron Paul people help me with advise?

I'm only 17 (18 in April) so I've got to start out small. I'm going to shoot for Precinct Committeeman.

Young father of 3. If I weren't, I'd be running for State Rep. But since I can't abandon my family for 3 months out of the year, I'm running for Precinct Committeemen & working with about 20 others to infiltrate & take over my county GOP.

I'll have to wait until I'm out of the Navy (five more years), but I'll try and run for something...I don't know exactly what office I could hold, but I'm sure there's something.

What is a good major to take in college to help you in your political career? I am really thinking about running for congress in the future after college.

To be honest, if you're really serious about going big early (running for Congress at a very young age), law or political justice would be good. But to be honest, you should do whatever you enjoy and worry about your future as a politician later. I'm a statistics major planning to go to grad school for economics, but I still plan on working my way up the ladder (being active in local party politics and getting elected to a local office). It just might take me a little bit longer this way than others.

You will eventually see my name on yard signs.

Look for me in 2018, that's probably the first time I'll be running for Congress...I figure that's when I'll have enough experience to do so. I have no idea where I'll be. Hopefully we will still have a place to convene and share ideas and I'll have a place to come for great grassroots support for my campaign much like the candidates in this election are getting.

I am going to run for County Commissioner. There is a $300 problem though (filing fee).

I wish you the very best, Nullvalu.

We must stay united.

Most people don't even know what we are uniting around. Sadly, Ron Paul's message has not gotten through to most of his supporters. That is what we should be focusing on now. Teaching people about free markets and spreading the word of liberty. A great deal of people here are extremely hostile toward libertarianism and that is the underpinning of Dr. Paul's message. If we don't even know what the message is about then how can we stay united?

This is such a BAD BAD idea, (everyone on here running for gov. positions). 95% of the people on this board probably are not qualified to run for office and would just look ridiculous or ignorant if they tried to run and would give true republicanism and constitutional ism a bad name. This is not the first thread I have seen on this and as I have said before, being a huge fan of the bronco's does not mean you should try out...similar principal applies here. Sure get involved but running for office is not for everyone so saying everyone on here should do it is just ridiculous.

This is an excellent idea. This is where the true power of the movement exists. The establishment is far more concerned about a wave of constitutionalists infiltrating local, state, and federal government than they are a single presidency... as they should be.

Ron Paul supporters should run for every office available to them!
