Voting for the Lesser of Two Evils vs Not Voting at All

In the past, I disagreed with others who claimed voting was a waste of time, or that both parties were just two sides of the same coin. I thought voting, while imperfect, was still a chance to influence the direction of the country, to elect leaders who might at least challenge the corrupt system.

But now I see the truth clearly: the system is designed to strip all resources from humanity, leaving us with nothing. Governments have evolved into nothing more than the mechanisms of control, extracting value from the people to feed the ever-growing machine of power and exploitation. This system doesn’t exist to help or represent us—it exists to control us.

The two-party system is a farce, a game of illusion. There is no real difference between the so-called "lesser evil" and the so-called "greater evil." Both are part of the same system of exploitation, both work to keep the masses dependent, distracted, and in a state of perpetual servitude.

When we vote for the "lesser evil," we are still feeding the system. It doesn’t matter which politician wins—the system remains the same, still operating to steal from us and keep us in line. Voting for the "lesser evil" is just another way to pacify us, to make us think we have power while the game continues, unchanged.

The truth is, voting is a distraction. It's an illusion of choice that only reinforces the hold that the state has on us. Instead of focusing on who to vote for or how to "improve" the system, we should be questioning why we’re participating in a game rigged against us in the first place.

The government doesn't care about us—it cares about maintaining control. We have to realize that the only thing left to strip is our ability to fight back. We need to stop playing by their rules, stop participating in a system that is not meant for us to win. The resources we still have, the power we still have, is in our refusal to play the game.

So, the real question isn't about choosing the lesser evil—it's about opting out of the entire system, rejecting their control, and building something outside of their reach.

The only true power we have is in withdrawing our consent, in not playing their game. This system isn't broken—it's functioning exactly as it was designed. And until we realize that, until we reject the system entirely, we are just another cog in their machine.

This isn’t about voting. This isn’t about politics. This is about breaking free from the control that has been placed over us.

The only thing that voting does is it signals your obedience.

Voter turnout is one of the primary metrics used to measure the "legitimacy" of governments.
