Voted for Ron in Dover at 7:10am.

I walked in and was told I was the first to vote by the person I handed my drivers license to. Then she was corrected by another saying I was the third. This lady who looked liked and talked like she was straight out of the Section 8 community proceeds to tell me that a photo ID is no longer needed in DE. You just need something with your name and address on it like a bill or anything. I said that allows for people to cheat because how do you know if that person is that person. She disagreed with me. I was so angry I almost brought up the guy who just voted for the racist gun grabbing Nazi Eric Holder because he didn't need a photo ID. The video is on YouTube and the guy I believe is O'Keef. Anyhow, the gay guy next to her with his tongue practically hanging out nodded his head in agreement with me with a smirk.

Oh, the only signs leading into the school were four for Ron Paul.

So I voted and the first thing I noticed that our guys name was listed Ronald E. Paul while the other 3 candidates name were listed as we know them.

I voted and gathered up a few votes yesterday by reminding people at work who are Republicans. It's a closed primary and there aren't that many Reps here or we could get more votes from the Indies as there are more of them then us - speaking of us, I will now register under a different party, either Indy or LP.

We shall see how things turn out...it was extremely light this morning where I voted. Two people entering as I was leaving.

Sounds like it would be easy (but not legal) to proxy vote for your Republican co-workers.

Woot! I'll be voting in Newark after work today and bringing my neighbor.

I once knew a Russian friend (who was in no way American, and did not/does not live in America) that voted in a Senate Election. Some of his other friends were interested in finding out how easy it would be to commit election fraud, so they gave my friend a name of a person who lived in town but never voted (this is in NH, where apparently the voting laws are really lax), and he went and voted.

Now this would be an extremely inefficient way to commit voting fraud on a large scale, but I think it's an interesting story regardless.

You are the first person to vote.

CHING CHING go the machines.

Wait, the machines indicate two more votes to match yours.

13 had voted in my District 6 location - North Brandywine- at 11:15 A.M. Place was a ghost town. And yes it was Ronald E Paul.

I wonder if Ron should have made a stop in Deleware because of the Christine O'Donnell or whatever doing so well in the primary the last time? Maybe that's the reason for the Grinch putting so much effort in there? Hopefully this turns out to be a surprise!

Christine received all of her support from the T.E.A. PARTY PATRIOTS. They strongly oppose the Statesman. Also, was largely the senior population. Most of that group now have voiced support for Romney or the presumptive candidate. Cable news crowd mostly but the T.E.A Party "PATRIOTS" are pretty organized.

Newt won't do so good here as folks think though.

First stop in Newark today was an empty polling station. Will be headed down to another Newark station shortly to take a peek at that and will be there most of the afternoon. Weather is a beaut.

I do think Delaware might have worked for Ron and Connecticut, but I'm sure the campaign had reasons for going where they did.

She did well because Rush and Levin pushed her strongly over Castle. Rush helped her raise $2 million in one day. Castle was not liked by the tea party movement.

I think if Ron made a serious try at DE, he could have won. There won't be that many votes cast today. Since he didn't, I hope he at least pulls out a second place over Newt. Santorum is still on the ballot too.

"Ronald E. Paul", the fuk?

Just to cause confusion or to hope to create a lame association with Ronald McDonald.

I wonder if they expanded the name "Mitt". 2% (6,000,000) Americans believe it's Mittens!

Ron did very poorly in CT last time around. The GOP in CT is Romney country, for sure.

I remember next to no grassroots involvement in CT at all in 2008, other than myself, mrocked, and a few others from these forums.

Are there delegates on the ballot in Delaware???

I'm from PA, but have friends in DE voting for Ron... do they need to vote for delegates too??? or are they chosen later?

You acted inappropriately and I hope they didn't know you voted for Ron Paul because that's embarrassing.

From what I've heard, the delaware GOP has already chosen their delegates for the national convention. The state convention vote will be for ceremonial purposes only. I'd bet they did a thorough job of making sure no Paul supporters are on that list.

There's a lot of people from CT here, including me. But there's no ground grassroots for any candidate, including Ron.

That could be the reason Ron didn't include Deleware on the list of states he campaigned in.
