Newsmax is pushing Bachmann in their latest poll (Trump didn't work out for them). She is currently advertising on their site for a money bomb.

She was trying to get $240,000 or something in her money bomb and it's about over and when I checked about an hour ago it was at $155,000. Plus Palin sounds like she might get in.

Bachmann doesn't have the support the media suggests. She did get a Tea Party bump, but she just doesn't have the broad support that she needs to run for President. Palin sounds as though she's going to run, but I don't think she will. She can't get around her high negative rating, and she just doesn't handle enough of the issues. She's been pushed by the Republican party as a leader of the Tea Party, but we all know that there are now basically two Tea Parties, the original Tea Party stemming from Ron Paul's campaign, and the hijacked Tea Party, which the GOP tried to take control of secretly.

It's pointless to vote in this poll. It's strictly to gauge support for Bachmann - so if we give her a negative approval rating and then write RP or GJ as our candidate of choice, they're just going to say "well, she has high negatives among the libertarian crowd". What we need to do is actually vote for another establishment candidate to make it count.
