Vote for Rand (to be included in PPP poll)

This is a poll about adding an extra name to the poll. Maybe Ron Paul will already be included in the poll and that's why he isn't a choice.

That would be awful, and unrealistic. they won't run against each other, and it divides the vote.

I sure disagree.

Just long enough for a debate or two, and not long enough for a primary or two, wouldn't do any harm I don't think. Anyway, since they don't seem to be confirming that Ron is in the debate, it's hard to say we shouldn't ensure one of them is in there.

It would kill all straw polls meanwhile and one could taint the other. I'm against it. Now Rand as VP candidate traveling for his own agenda and for Ron, would be different because it would still channel into the same vote. And Rand wouldn't run on legalizing pot as his big really issue and make liberty candidates seem strange to GOP voters. (something I'm concerned about w/ GJ.) Legalization is one thing. Making it your calling card is another. I looked into libertarianism LONG ago, because a number of people told me I sounded libertarian. However, the libertarian candidates PRIMARILY seemed to focus on legalizing weed on their web pages. I decided they weren't serious candidates. NOW I know they a) were running on a shoe string and trying to get media and b) were usually running in evenings and on weekends because they had day jobs, but at the time I just decided they had really skewed priorities. Having been in the GOP for some time, I think that is a common fallacy about liberty candidates.

But I thought they HAD confirmed Ron would be in the debate?

Well, if we just ensured Ron and Rand will be in this one, I doubt the 'channeling into one' will be a problem. They'll be the only relatives on the stage, so it'll be easy to remember.
