Remember back when we ruled the baby internet social media?

In this poll Vance is about 64% and Massie is currently 3rd at about 7%

Don’t really know what we have left in the tank but hopefully we can get some of this early polling momentum.

My suggestion: Don't vote.

Don't give this corrupt corporatist government the credibility it doesn't deserve.

All voting does is show a willingness to accept whatever little bones it gives us in exchange for their massive rollouts, such as "Digital ID For All", massive spending, etc.

The only way to take it back is via non-compliance. And that means people must self-reflect and stand on principle, and not rely on others/politicians to do it for them.

You can do all this and still vote in a straw poll.

I agree. The time for voting is when there is the choices. Even if the illusion of choice narrows and you get down to the two people in the uniparty I think strawpolling is useful within the current system.

I agree. I voted. I miss the days when we pwned this polls.

I did notice, though, that Massie is on the list but Rand Paul is not.

Massie is doing a better job, and getting more attention for it. So, seems natural to me. It's better in this case to put all your eggs in one basket, and he's the basket I'd choose.

Agree.
Agree.
Agree. Agree and agree.

But in this case, there's even something more basic and pragmatic. It's a self-selecting, meaningless, internet poll; conducted by The Western Journal nonetheless. Close examination reveals a surreal procession of avatars, usernames, and burner accounts marching in lockstep for each candidate mentioned in the poll - with each group grumbling in unison like a Terry Gilliam animation come to life. Each crowd, composed entirely of mismatched commoners - some in MAGA hats, others in anime profile pics - move as one hooting organism, bouncing across the screen with righteous indignation and absolutely no impact on reality.

You'll hear the "organizers" of each horde screaming, “This poll will send a message,” moments before the message is swallowed by the algorithmic void and replaced with an ad for tactical sunglasses.

Experts confirm such polls have no statistical validity, no institutional consequence, and no discernible effect on anything beyond the dopamine receptors of those who clicked “Submit” seventeen times. The Western Journal, meanwhile, will declare the poll a resounding success in engagement metrics, citing a 400% increase in grumbles per capita - all while reminding the participants that they're influencing the selection of the candidates for the most important election of our collective lifetime.

I disagree. You have to make your voice heard or you have no voice

Thank you!!! It's been far too long since we've posted a poll here

I voted!!

Look at the order they put those names in [with the 3 pre-approved on top] 😂

Not only can Trump not run again [yet?], his popularity is on the tank, so why is he even listed? 😂

And who is "Other"? Ron Paul? 🤣

I'm offended you would ask.

They're obviously referring to me.

(Who do you think I voted for in this poll????)

Oh, that's whose voice I heard!

I remember some interaction with @Occam's Banana about whether I would vote for Ron Paul again or not. I said no I wouldn't [even though I did in '12], he wrongly implied that I would.

I'm so over voting that I wouldn't even vote for myself. For the simple reason that whatever good I did, somebody else would come along after me and totally fuck it up because they would have some "brilliant" idea of "how to make it better", and more probably make it even worse than if I never did get in in the first place.

I like DeSantis next time. I like Massie and Paul where they are. They are doing a good job. If either won a primary, I have no problem voting for them.

Why isn't Massie running for Senate?

Who said voting didn't work? ^This^ is exactly why we are where we are.

I don't recall ever implying (or outright saying) that any particular person would (or wouldn't) vote for this person or that one.

It's not the kind of statement or argument I am generally inclined to make, as I don't really care about such things.

Vote (or not) for whomever you please. I don't think it really matters, either way.
