Vote for billboard design facing traffic across highway

This poll is to get some feedback on the design for our billboard facing traffic on I-35 across the freeway. We have seconds to attract their attention and direct them to info about Ron Paul on the bottom billboard. I love both designs and so I am asking for help to see which would be more effective for the Austin market.

1) I'd say at least add Ron Paul's name on: Got Liberty and Legalize the Constitution
2) You've been given space, use it. Make 'Got Liberty' larger
3) Add the depiction of the American Flag, like the stripes at least.

We are using the marketing ad strategy of the successful multi million dollar milk campaign that is a huge success.

So just black with white letters. We have tried using different color schemes and flags for our billboard that will face the traffic. They just don't look as good as the solid black. We have color with his photo. And the strips on the bottom billboard breaks up the 2 billboards and takes your eyes away from the space in between them.

This poll pretty much reflects the response I have received from everyone I posed the question to. They like both, as I. We will run with the "Constitution " design since we already have it prepped for print in the correct format with proper disclaimers and such.

I'd go with the legalize one with the following changes:

Make the stamp straight and make the font bigger, especially on Constitution.

Change the font on the lower section to make it easier to read. , and make the phone number a bit smaller than the web address.


Also, instead of a black background, why not make it white with black lettering? Might look nicer.

Definitely "LEGALIZE". I do wonder if maybe 'RonPaul2008.com' is a bit difficult to take in, but I know so many people have voted for Grassroots to move away from "Google Ron Paul".

Do it. I haven't coughed up my dough yet, but I have to make it through 51 & the weekend. Hopefully my cash'll be on its way next week.

We can tinker with the design straight and see how it looks. I've seen other ads reversed colors and I tried it and it does not look as good. We can work on the fonts for the lower part.

larger and less squashed together on "Got Liberty" and a completely different type style, on the "Legalize the Constitution". And (less busy) , and with a more prominent and legible"Constitution".

And since you are asking, I like "Legalize the constitution" better.

It is my opinion that the "got ____?" slogan has long since become hackneyed. I definitely prefer "Legalize the constitution." I guess you decided against mentioning he's a Texas Congressman?
