Virginia bus kidnapped

Florida RNC delegates are left at hotel

WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. - Already banished some 45-minutes away from downtown Tampa, Florida delegates to the Republican National Convention were given another inconvenience: No buses.

Hillsborough county GOP chair Art Wood told ABC Action News that the RNC forgot to schedule transportation. Replacement buses were ordered, and the driver on one of those got lost on the way to the Tampa Bay Times Forum, adding to the delay.

Some delegates were an hour late to the start of the convention at 2:00 P.M. Others were more than 90 minutes late. One delegate said he stood in the heat sweating, wondering what was going on.

The RNC already punished Florida's GOP DELEGATION by reducing the number of delegates by half after Florida' s republican controlled legislature approved moving up Florida's primary date against the rules of the national party.

Here is what happened.. The bus was an hour late and we were on the bus for 2 hours.. They wouldn't let us off until we all walked to the front of the bus.. Morton and gentry missed the meeting and are in the process of trying to get together a minority report.. We are going to get crushed but will go down fighting..

What's so hard about walking to the front of the bus?

Definitely proud of you and ALL our delegates. All we can expect for you guys to do is to go down fighting! Good job and way to represent us all!

Jack Traven says, "Get back on that bus and don't let the speed drop below 50 MPH..." (Movie: Speed '94)

I saw that movie: "Annie Porter (Sandra Bullock), takes over as Sam is cared for and Jack restrains the paranoid passenger and informs the rest of the situation. With advice from the police, Harry has Annie drive the bus off the busy freeway, through city streets, and eventually onto an incomplete freeway devoid of traffic. The police soon arrive to escort the bus, while news helicopters fly overhead and report on the story."

Don't worry, Jack Traven (Keanu Reeves) will save the day! The bus will arrive safely (probably later) so that Obama can be re-elected in November.

I really hope all this comes back and bites Romney and the RNC in the ass bigtime.

Virginia, Rhode Island and Iowa are being held hostage until the rules vote is over. Michigan, Oklahoma and Texas are supposed to walk out if Maine is not seated.

Just like when Sununu couldn't be found... Timothy P Carney ‏@TPCarney RNC rules require the petition to be "submitted ... In writing." AND Zeke Miller ‏@ZekeJMiller I’m told they are trying to email in the minority reports because they can’t find those individuals.

Michigan, Oklahoma and Texas are supposed to walk out if Maine is not seated.

Michigan !? That's an amazing show of solidarity and it's going to create one BIG hole right in front of the floor in front of Romney.

Oh I hope they do. I hope other states follow suit.
