Video: Will 'substantive' GOP debate move the meter for Rand Paul?

LOL, Rand is doing a divide-and-conquer strategy on these mofos:
{Trump, Christie} {Rubio, Obama, Clinton} {Paul, Carson, Cruz}

Rand : "the civil war in Syria has been 'stoked' on both sides"
Good questions overall from Hemmer -
but Trump did have to "take the bait", since Wolfe gave Trump the opportunity to try to explain what the eff he is talking about anyway.

He could have said something like "They were probably advised by their campaign managers not to refer to me as it would give me more speaking time in which I could further expose their hypocrisy and it doesn't matter either because the points were valid and..."

I think Rand will experience a surge in the polls. I expect him to be close to 10%+ in Iowa and start doubling his support in NH and nationwide if he keeps his message bold, strong and simple. I really mean this, it's been a long time since I've seen liberal and conservative reporters generally give him either praise for his debate performance or admit that he won. And we still have 1 month and change left until IA votes so let's do this!! :cool:

Yep. I think in the previous debate (and to a greater extent in this one) he has found his footing and also a message. He has learned not to get into juvenile name calling or shouting matches with Trump, but merely let him open his big mouth by saying something stupid and then Rand forcefully puts Trump's own foot in it by showing the audience how idiotic and uniformed he is on the issues. Same thing with Christie when he tends to go to far off the reservation trying to show what a Joisy tough guy he is. With Rubio, you can just beat him over the head with the Gang of 8, the Liberal label, and Immigration over an over again. It may be too little too late, but the one thing about politics (especially this cycle) is that it can turn on a dime. We have got the fundamentals to make a run. Decent ground game in Iowa over the years that will help for starters coupled with low expectations from the MSM.

I do wish Rand would've ignored Trump and focused all his energy on Rubio instead. I'm quite positive that we'll finish in the top 3 in Iowa, I don't know why but if Rand can improve his poll numbers and win the 2 debates before Iowa, he should have no problem finishing in the top 3! :)
