Hopefully he is going to test out some new language. It's time for debates to be substantial for him.

Massive viewage! But we already know that he won't reformat his foreign policy delivery per his FL speech via NV where he handed us that swift kick in the bollocks. Does he not see that Rand's practical approach works better with the gop base. The strict anti-war lingo has attained as much mileage as it was going to.

Not sure that's a good idea, she is solidly pro Newt. On the other hand, he does have to do Fox.

perfect opportunity for ron paul to say something that will grab headlines, but he probably won't.
Any suggestions?

It's hard to grab headlines when you're consistent. Everyone already knows where Paul stands on the issues. I suppose he could call out the process, but then he'd be playing the Gingrich game. It may be good for TV, but it won't win many votes.

I'd like to think of a way to change the narrative, but I think it's going to be up to voters now. Paul will either have to have a big victory somewhere or concrete, irrefutable evidence must come out about election fraud on a massive scale.

Greta isn't awful. Of the Fox hosts with decent ratings, I'm guessing Greta and Baier are the only ones Paul can stand to talk to. Good to take advantage of every opportunity since he skips the other big two - Hannity and O'Reilly (the latter understandably).

I would play the Gingrich game and challenge the media. Point out the bias coverage, that type of talk won Gingrich SC. What hurt Gingrich is that after all that tough talk he has no integrity, but Paul doesn't have to worry about that. If I was him I would really really try to say something bold and a tad controversial that will get replayed over and over again. Even if it might spark some negative feedback it still will be feedback either way.

I don't think Greta has an axe to grind with Ron. A few weeks ago she two or three times attempted to get Dick Morris to comment on "all of the candidates" and he avoided mentioning or alluding to Ron. A few minutes later, she explicitly asked Brit Hume, "What about Ron Paul? I failed to get Dick Morris to comment on him earlier."

Has Greta ever given Ron a LIVE interview? All the ones I can remember seeing have been taped (and may have been edited prior to airing). This doesn't work in Ron's favor if his goal is to say something that will grab headlines.

She was solidly supportive of Rick Santorum the other night. It was such a BS session between Greta Van Suckteren and Santorum... I thought the exchange were just 2 FOX NEWS CORP employees chatting at the coffee bar! Oh, wait...

It will be loaded questions... then the trap Ron falls into... rush him, cutting him off, interrupting him... then Ron falls back into stumbling and fumbling of words, adding the "indecisive appearance" aka indicates that you're guessing or approximating. These multi-billion dollar media/communications corporations have analyzed all the weak points of their guests and exploit them to their agenda.

Fillers (such as "um, ah, but, and, dah, like...") will often appear in one's speaking when the pace is quick, as speaking gets ahead of the train of thought. Practice determining a pace that minimizes the occurrence of these fillers, attempt to control the interview if all possible, because if it's carried along in the interview, will present a negative to the viewer/listener.

Yes I know... and all these corporate and profession media clowns, pundits, and politicians go to the best schools and classes to train on just this important profession. Most of the best speech, dialog, debate courses/classes, and coaches are right their in good old Manhattan. They all do have Non-disclosure confidentiality agreements... Jim P. who's been floating around the media world and plays both sides of the false dichotomy depending who he's working for, is pretty fair and never really speaks ill of Ron. But Jim was like, Com'on Ron, your answer is just "freedom", and when prompted "That's all" by the moderator, Ron responded with "more freedom".

You do have 30-60 seconds to explain it to the millions watching and listening, not 4 seconds.

Havnig him on the day BEFORE the caucus? Hmmm... Gotcha questions.... Ron will answer in a way that a soundbyte would be better but he won't connect with the layman GOP'er... they hope to reduce his turnout in anticipation of dems/indies coming out for him.

I hope that Ron starts to talk less about whats wrong with America and how they got to this point and more about what he would do in his first year to change America for the better, for everyone. After all, isnt that what gets everyone excited about Ron in the first place? (that and he speaks the truth!)

I would love to hear him say that when he cuts 1 trillion dollars not only is it going to be the first vital step in saving the value of the dollar it will also give the people more freedom in the process by removing large federal agencies that impinge on personal liberties. Of course, he should stress medicare and social welfare would not be touched.

Id love to hear him talk about how hes going to end the war on drugs, a war that has empowered the drug dealers doing exactly the opposite of what it should and cost Americans trillions in the process. He should stress he strongly advocates against drugs and would do so as president but that he believes in personal liberty and states should have the right to decide which drugs are illegal and which arent.

I hope that she brings up the rape question again and paul clarifies that 99 percent of the time conception doesnt take place until more than a dozen hours after intercourse and although there is a minute chance conception may have taken place he would err on the side of compassion for the rape victim. I got the impression that was his opinion anyway in his longwinded answer to Piers!

I also hope Ron gets across the message that the troops are overwhelmingly with him while the big banks are funding Romney and Obama. Who do people want to support??? I cant believe this point hasnt been stressed more.

Go Ron.

This sounds promising but Gretta is probably in a closed room with Fox executives talking about the consequences of being fair with Ron Paul and being objective and that it will not be tolerated. She has always been fair and objective in her interviews and I am very optimistic. Im curious to see how she will overcome the executives RP mandate to diminish RP on national TV. We shall see.
