Video update - Maddow segment on whether Huntsman campaign was behind "Manchurian" ad

Just considering the possibility that it wasn't us is refreshing. I'm not quite ready to write a thank you letter, as I just wrote MSNBC about Olbermann's stunt with the "Worst People in the World" BS last week. (Anyone subscribe to MoxNews channel? The video that prompted me to write in was uploaded today; he was a bit late showing the clip, and I don't watch MSNBC so I just found out.)

For the record, this "scandalous video" should have never seen the light of day in terms of mainstream media coverage. We all know what a joke the MSM is, but sometimes it still amazes me with how low they will go. The only thing I am glad about is that it doesn't appear to be working very well. *crosses fingers*

*Tangent* For MoxNews subscribers, there are SO many trolls in the comments saying they're going to unsubscribe to his channel now because he sticks up for Ron Paul. That's been just a bit obvious now for awhile. I think I require some more spiritual growth, because I find it VERY hard to ignore the disrespectful comments I see on his videos, such as "F*** Ron Paul" - I seriously feel like I could *omits gory details* when someone says that!!!

imo humble opinion, this is simply stage 2 of the 'Huntsman surge'.

One little piece like this before NH (but not so 'before' that it will affect much) let's the MSM look like they did due diligence, and they'll only truly bring the hammer down on Huntsman after NH.

That seems messy to me, and Huntsman isn't going anywhere. SC and FL will be brutal to him, and I doubt his campaign can even afford it. I wonder if the Paul campaign even commissioned the "inspection", or if it's just more internet jumble? Did they do a press release on this?

The thing that is totally lost on people, is that Ron Paul supporters idolize Jim Rogers, who moved his entire family to Asia and raised his daughters to speak Mandarin in an effort to prepare them for business in the 21st century. No real Ron Paul supporter would attack Huntsman on this.

I feel that Maddow was giving Huntsman an advertisement in a backhanded way. It's nice the idea questioning who made the video got out there, but it seemed to me she wasn't buying it.

This wasn't a favorable piece. She made the campaign seem like it was pitching a conspiracy theory. Called the independent consulting firm hired a " analysis" or "audit".

Big +1!. Maddow states at least twice that the ad appears to come from a Ron Paul supporter. There is ZERO evidence for this. A youtube user name and a brand new account and not linked a single real person is not evidence. That she presents facts linking the ad to Huntsman - his exploitation of the ad and early linkage of it by his campaign, seemingly - is nice but it is the conspiracy theory. At no point does she debunk the premise that it was a Ron Paul supporter. She should have corrected the past stories before venturing into new ground.

To bad this story will be buried and all the support that may have switched from paul to Hunstman can not be reversed.

But who's really going to change their minds because of a stupid internet video from some nobody, even if they are a RP supporter? He's just trying to make himself look good in the future. Having that video actually persuade people against Ron Paul is very unlikely, and even more unlikely that it would persuade them to go toward Huntsman.

It has been apparent to me for a while that two of the smarmiest, slimiest charaters running for the GOP nomination are Huntsman and Romney, sadly, the two upstanding Mormons. Not to overlook some of the others who are also smarmy.

Huntsman pratically telegraphed some upcoming "tricks" by his daughters during the Piers Morgan interview. He is no innocent.

Romney really exhibits the worst in human nature and the worst in predatory business practices.
