I don't think there is any doubt that Ron Paul holds a little more clout on the Hill than he did before the campaign. Suddenly he isn't the "crazy constitutional guy" and now he is the economic, fund raising guru with over 1 million people backing him.

I'm not sure how that will translate into his effectiveness but I think people will at least listen to him. And any closet constitutionalists may feel a little more bold in speaking up.

I've booked a room in St. Paul for the National Convention in case I can't go as a delegate. Almost every hotel in the twin cities is blocked out for the convention so you might want to start making arrangements if you want to be there.

My thoughts exactly. Of course, it would be best if we had a lot of representatives that stood up strongly for the constitution despite "peer pressure," but I'll take it either way.
