[Video] Ron Paul on Piers Morgan Tonight 3/26/12

well, yeah, ya gotta remember Piers is an entertainer, and its clear his viewership skyrockets when Ron is on...keep that in mind, and one eye on that red coat.

I hate to say this but I think Ron Paul needs to talk less.

Even as a die-hard supporter, I was getting very uncomfortable watching him go on for so long on each question.

The attention span of a TV audience is short, people like SHORT answers and then they like to hear another question., it's a very ADD-like format and RP would do better playing to that format.

In the time he spent on 4-5 questions he could have answered 10-15 questions with short answers.

I know what people here are going to say -- some of the things he has to get across can't be summed up quickly. But you know what? If the audience isn't processing the long answer, what's the point?

RP is a truth teller. He should be cleverly blasting through lots of questions, shattering the cacophony of lies the media puts out.

@piersmorgan big fan piers, i thought ron paul was very impressive tonight, how come more people dont vote for him? im still undecided

thats my tweet to morgan, i want to see if he replies to that and if he does, i want to see what he has to say to it... for those who dont know me, i am a die hard ron paul supporter and would die for him, but i just wanted to pretend i was undecided to see how he would reply to an undecided voter... if he writes back to me, ill post his reply for all of you to see.

You know your network is in the shitter when you have to have an 'exotic' British personality hosting prime time.

I enjoyed this interview. Ron Paul was better then excellent. Pierce Morgan deserves a pat on the back for this interview, and also for the Phil Donahue interview a few months ago when Morgan had no obligation to speak well of Paul, or even bring him up, yet did. I believe Pierce when he says "you gotta love that guy". I appreciate his statement that, "Ron Paul is a National Treasure". How soon do any of you expect to hear that from an American media personality?

Anyone that sends negative comments to Pierce undermines our effort. Those that thank him deserve +Reps. Ron Paul has been teaching us by example how to stand in another man's shoes. There are many "closet" Ron Paul fans out there. Let's not drag em out into the light, but invite them in and if they refuse, invite them again. If they refuse yet again, then ignore them.

Also....picking on the minutiae in Ron Paul's delivery isn't cool. He is mastering the art, in spite of being picked at. When its all said and done I predict that Ron Paul will go down in history as a "Global" Treasure, both for his delivery of babies and words

That said, you guys are all great!

A Polite Canadian

An interesting, yet still bias article relating to the interview. I like how it ends on the note that the race isn't over yet because recently the MSM have been all over Romney closing out this process and moving on to the general election. The best message we could communicate to the people at this time is that it isn't over yet, and there's still a lot of fight left to be had.

I wonder what he'll say about it. NPR (All Things Considered, I believe) had a segment where one guest was pointing out that if the race of the killer and victim were switched, it would unfortunately be a completely different story. The guest goes on to talk about how blacks are arrested more often and sent to jail more often and given the death sentence more often.

I'd like to see RP respond to his next "Newsletter" bias question with that info: "blacks are arrested more often and sent to jail more often and given the death sentence more often" and how this concerns him, especially since it's involved with the federal war on (some) drugs. IMO, Ron Paul should describe what a POTUS can do about this horrid racial bias statistic, correcting it ASAP, with the stroke of his pen... EXPLAINING (it's only my suggestion) INTENTIONS TO SET ALL NON-VIOLENT "DRUG POSESSION" and "DWB" INMATES FREE WITH A FULL PARDON within 24 hrs of taking office. That might give the MSM something new to chew on.

"The federal drug war needs to end so that Police can go back and concentrate on being peace officers, hopefully preventing another Trayvon Martin incident."

Drop a new bomb every time they ask another stupid question or waste everyone's time asking about when he will drop out of the "race" and quit fighting for our Constitution and sound money, etc.

The beginning was great. "The government uses force to transfer a service, a good, or money from one to another. That is coercion." Way to strike the root of the problem Ron :)

he spent 25 min talking with Chaka Khan about the trayvon martin case, and 9 min with a presidential candidate. why does everything have to be so backwards?

Yeah that was much better than the previous interview. Pierce Morgan actually allowed Ron to answer and they had a good natured exchange at the end during which Ron got his point across well.
