It's clear that Ron Paul is now refining his message and saying the rights things..be it in Nevada the other night or in this most recent interview with CNN:

I swear I think the campaign takes notes from RPF. In SC when perry dropped out, someone posted that RP should introduce himself as the only military on stage at the next debate. My jaw dropped when Paul did that EXACT thing that night!

Someone also said he should re-use an interview soundbite of sending politicians to the moon. He did just that at the last debate!

Next thing you know, he's going to clear up the national defense issue which has been predicted in several threads here. When he does that, he wins.

The interview wasn't the main issue but the point that Ron is listening to the grassroots is. I think it needs to be put in that context for those us that felt like the campaign was squandering an opportunity to broaden Ron Paul's appeal and perhaps was falling into a 2007 repeat...

Ron always talks about striving for excellence so it's good to see him improve...at least he is trying. It was hard to tell at times.

I hope that this is the case. Someone asked Doug Wead about coaching and debate preparation and this was his response:

well, dr. paul is so pure in his ideas and thinking he doesn't have much of that.

Which is why he's always ready to give an interview or make a speech.

Nor should he change his message but there may be other ways to deliver it that are more effective.

Doug Wead in a interview on Daily Paul Radio the other day said he comes to RPF for ideas or for new information newly discovered or researched by members of the grassroots. They would be smart to come here for ideas, there is a lot of brainstorming that happens on RPF, and there is strength in numbers especially when it comes to research and background fact checking. The biggest challenge though would be cutting through all the noise and finding the diamonds in the rough.

I was very pleased to see brought up in the clip something I've been thinking a lot about these past couple of weeks -- that the campaign needs to reach out more to older voters and get them not only on board but out in the open involved and visible.
All in all, it looks to me as if Ron and his campaign managers have worked out some major knots with the message he's putting out, and are well on the road to success!

I think the quality of posts here is high, but there are too many duplicate threads, or new threads that should be a part of another. Also, Grassroots has 85% of all the posts, so I don't see the point of most of the other Sub Forums.

Yes the line "people who believe in something" fits RP perfectly along with the rest of us. It's a very powerful emotional appeal that just happens to be true in our case. Maybe old dogs can learn new tricks.
